Clubhouse Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Everett

When the bartender was preparing my friend’s drink, I noticed some wheat vodka spilled into the glass she was going to use for my drink (I have celiac disease). Before she made my drink, I asked her to get a new glass and explained my restriction. Instead, the bartender told me that I shouldn’t be drinking out any bars if I have an allergy. She went on saying how it’s likely that everything behind the counter was contaminated, including the cups and the ice. I’m not sure if she was trying to be helpful but it came across rudely. I was just a bit taken aback by this whole interaction because my work frequents bars & any time this has happened in the past, the bartender just gets a new glass and just quickly washes it. Anyone with a restriction understands fully the risks of potential cross contamination when eating out. Is asking for a clean glass really that much of an...

Wow, I have never seen a more UNPROFESSIONAL bartender. I arrive to the clubhouse with a few friends and we were absolutely mortified to hear a bartender screaming at two young woman who approached the counter before me. As a bartender myself I was speechless. To treat any customer the way this woman had is unacceptable. After the woman yelled at them to leave I asked if the one young woman being yelled at directly would mind showing me her id just to see what the fuss was about. She had told me how she misplaced her id a week prior and had a VALID temporary license (legal and accepted at every bar in Washington according to the WADOL and the WALCB). My friend was craving Good Bar Food. I hadn't been to the Clubhouse in awhile, but they fit that. Also have an amazing lunch special, half off burgers 11 am- 2 pm on weekdays with a purchase of a beverage. We get there she wanted to start with mozzarella sticks. The bartender was super nice he was moderately busy. Got our cheese sticks ordered our Bacon Burgers both with fries. People kept coming in no one was leaving, it was Busy. Cook brought out our order but one had tots, she said she would bring my friend fries. Bartender somehow got us refills on our soda timely, he did great. Food was great! Great...
