Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Everett

Not a good experience. I rolled up through the drive through and asked the person who answered what was in the Club salad (usually relatively straightforward, but each place has a slightly different variation and I wanted to make sure since the ingredients weren't listed on the menu. The girl answered, "I don't know." That's it, no follow up of "let me find out" or anything, just "I don't know"... Then, I asked if she could find out and she responded with "Well it doesn't tell me on here, so I don't know." So I asked if she could ask someone and she said, "What do you mean?", so I followed up with "Can you ask someone who might know?" To which she responded, "Well I don't know, the thing doesn't tell me, so." So I asked if there is anyone who knows what comes on it so she can ask them and then tell me. She told me to hold on a minute, so I did, and she finally came back with an answer. I ordered the salad, without bacon because I can't have bacon and that's one of the things I wanted to see if it came with so I could ask for no bacon. Then I pull up to the window and she doesn't tell me a total before taking my card, which is odd to me, but I figure I'll get a receipt and it's one salad so no big deal. But then she closes the drive thru window and just stands there texting on her phone. I'm relatively confused but I'm just waiting for my order. Then my order shows up on the shelf from the kitchen and she's still standing there texting. When I'm about to say something or honk my horn (since the drive thru window was shut), she finally puts her phone in her pocket and grabs my food, my card and my receipt and gives it all to me, says here you go, and that's it. The salad was fine, other than the cucumbers being rotten and disgusting tasting, but I was just kind of shocked by the lack of customer service. Since when is "I don't know" an acceptable answer to a customer's question if you don't follow it up with "let me find out", or "let me ask". I don't care if you don't know the answer, but at least be willing to find out! I'm not going to blindly order something when I don't know what comes on it, especially if I can't have something it usually comes with. I just wanted to be able to know what exactly to say to leave off. And then the lack of courtesy that followed? I was just at a loss that that person still...

I've been to some pretty terrible Jack in the Box locations, but this one absolutely takes the cake. We went there for dinner tonight and are so disappointed. The person taking orders the drive through was incredibly rude and it took more than 20 minutes to move 3 car lengths. Once we finally got up to the window, the 3 employees I saw were all improperly masked (masks under their chins) - we're a year and a half into this pandemic, things are getting worse, and these people STILL can't wear their masks as they're meant to be worn!

We wait another 7 minutes at the window before we're handed our food and able to leave We get home and start unbagging our food - the burger is cold and the bread is stale, the fries are cold and rubbery. Everything is disgusting. The employee conveniently left out my receipt so I couldn't even fill out the customer satisfaction survey - I firmly believe the receipt was intentionally left out precisely so I couldn't participate in the survey.

We won't ever be going back to this location and I strongly recommend anyone else against...

Most uncomfortable food pick up experience ever. I was the only vehicle in the drive thru and I said nothing to the employees except order my food at the drive up menu and then while paying I asked for ranch dressing. The employee at the window was very snarky, had a fake smile and kept giggling. Then he went behind the back counter and I could hear him laughing very loudly, another employee walked up laughing from the back and looked at me. At one point I saw the cook raise his hands and walk out in front of me and say something like "I'm not doing it" and the other employee was peering over the top of shelving, looking at me and laughing. I finally got my food, left and threw it out. I don't know what they were doing when they were "preparing" my food. But I'll never trust getting food there again.
