March 2024. Been coming here for years cuz the food is so darn good. I live up at Mount Baker now but when I'm down in town this is where I come today. I had the best. Best best wonton soup and my favorite California rolls with their salad dressing mixed with some Tabasco seriachi sauce. Yum! Yum! Yum! Stop by and see Q!
May 2023 Q gives us cheerfully what we want.
Back again. They do a terrific off menu, for upcharge. He has chicken breast special combo
I have beef special combo. Sooooo tender. And flavorful.
Comes with crispy egg roll and pork gyozo, with salad and rice.
Very clean, with pleasant piano jazz music.
A favorite destination for a long trip.
Other customers came from Arlington for beef and broccoli and yakisoba.
2022 We keep coming back, even though we now live up by Mt Baker. I get the off menu, special beef combo. So tender. Hubby loves special combo white meat. The hot egg rolls and gyoza we eat hot, on the spot. Take the rest to go. Comes with salad too. Q is the best server. She has our order memorized. It comes out perfect every time.
2021 Get this 'not on the menu'. We go here more often, because we found out they will easily do special order. We ask for "special combo with chicken breast." It comes with 1 hot eggroll with sweet and sour, 4 fresh gyozos. Salad. Generous portion of perfectly cooked chicken breasts. Reasonable price s. Enough leftovers for...
Read moreTLDR: friendly staff, but not good food.
Review changed to 2 stars upon later review as it felt too harsh to say 1 star.
Staff sit in back in kitchen and while they do come to the desk fairly promptly, it feels kind of weird to have it empty when you walk in.
Maybe I'm just used to the food in Canada, but the cashew chicken was inedible. The chicken did not taste good, and it was drenched in sauce to cover this taste. Additionally, it looked absolutely nothing like the picture on the menu, which does not have nearly as much sauce and seems to have ingredients that were not even in the dish.
They asked me if there was something wrong with the dish when I was getting up to leave, which I replied to with "it's not for me."
They apologized and offered me something else off of the menu, but I figured I would feel the same about the rest of the menu, and didn't want to waste their time (and resources) cooking it as I know the margins on restaurants are fairly low.
Food seems kind of expensive for what it is, but again that might just be me being from Canada.
Restaurant seemed clean, and water...
Read moreSo far within the years of living here; we’ve tried multiple teriyaki places & had 2 spots we’d always go back to but both closed down, & The others were unreasonably expensive for the quality/quantity so they just weren’t satisfying enough to establish as our go-to spot.
Our usual meal is just a simple 🌶 chicken teriyaki or sometimes Yaki Udon if it’s avail, (which idk why is rare to find anywhere else) 🤦🏻♀️ But finally.. F͟I͟N͟A͟L͟L͟Y͟ we’ve officially found our favorite go-to spot that has the ✅BEST 🤩 ✅Fulfilling 😋 ✅Reasonably priced🤑 ✅Quality 🙌🏼 Food we’ve ever had for the ✅Quantity you’d get ✊🏼
➕ the additional bonus of always having leftovers & also only 5 mins away from home! ✅✅👏🏼
⭐️For us it honestly can’t get any better than that! 💯💯💯
So with all that said… From our stomach to you, we very much appreciate your business & providing amazingly delicious food for us all...
