This store has been a good store for us staff has also been. We have never been concerned about price of items. Staff has always been helpful, respectful and knowledgeable for us as their customer as most staples stores seem to be. Thank you! Unfortunately, after my experience today I am thinking of rather to continue business with this Staples store or focus my business to other office supply stores and other staples stores in Woodinville and Marysville area as we are reward members and purchase most if not all our printer ink and do most our printing for business purposes with Staples. I’m understanding of the need to keep restrooms clean, safe and keep homeless out of restrooms by locking them, due to the times and locations of some stores. In fact I’m supportive of this decision for store employees and paying customers a have a clean restroom. The decision by a single employee to not allow a paying customers and or a paying customer’s child to use a restroom while being under supervision. Is complete inexcusable.
I will give credit to the manger on duty and a different employee in the printing department whom showed a willingness and wanted to allow my child to use there restrooms. Unfortunately the same floor employee whom we asked first and told us no, managed to catch us a second time after someone in a different department radioed for a manger and was allowing us ( my son to use the restroom). This floor employee caught us first on our way to meet a manger and made the choice to stand his ground telling us no and restroom’s are closed to customers showing me once again a paying respectful customer and or customer’s child is / was not allowed to use their restroom. We did not complete our transaction, leaving items on shelf by this floor employee and leaving immediately to locate a restroom for my son.
This young employee needs to be taught the difference between taking care of a child and respectful paying customer vs. a homeless person looking to take advantage of a clean restroom for bathing, drugs etc.
I hope Staples is able to grow and train their employees in regards to this situation and help prevent future actions like this from poorly trained employees.

Read morei went to staples to print out four invitation cards 5 x 7. literally just four. they told me that their “monster printers” cannot print 5 x 7. all while a massive sign behind them says “we print it all! invitations, greeting cards, and more”. they said they could print it out on 8.5 x 11 cardstock and cut it out so its 5 x 7, but they would charge $3 PER CUT. not $3 per card. $3 for EACH snip ??? i said they could print it out on the big paper and ill just do it myself. they gave me the email to send the pictures to and it literally never sent (my bad for having slow service). but i tried using their wifi and it still never loaded. they said the invitations would be ready for pick up tomorrow so i said i will just email them from home where my service is better. but they said i needed to stay there… to provide instructions on how i wanted it printed??? i literally offered to write it down on a post it or something but the guy was so confused he said i needed to stay there. but this does not make any sense since he also said it would take a day to print… its not like he was gonna print it out asap and check that its accurate. we wasted 30 minutes trying to send them our design and just gave up. clearly this store is not set up for regular- small projects. my bad for assuming staples could print...
Read moreI came in here looking for office supplies with my two year old daughter. We both ended up having to go potty pretty bad. When we asked the man at the front he said he was not allowed to leave the check stand to open the bathroom that we would have to wait for his colleague who was in the office printing section. He said that it would take about 10 minutes. I asked if he would send them back to open the door for me and he said he would. I waited….waited and waited for 25 minutes before I was damn near pissing myself. My daughter also was st to get very upset because she was needing to go as well. So I go up to the front and there is now a line of like 15 people all needing stuff printed. He never asked for help. He forgot. Then said i would have to keep waiting because he forgot to ask. I asked for his help again and he said he again would not be able to help because he was not allowed to leave.at this point I left.
I wouldn’t have been mad if he said that there was no bathroom. Just the fact that he made us wait for so long and forgot about us then wasn’t even willing to help. Total douche move.
Thanks for the excellent customer service. 10/10 don’t recommend. And fyi the selection here was sub par, will be going to Amazon. Everett has seriously...
