I've been driving past this place for years but I have to drive by several places that make soup that I really love to get to them. Oddly, most of my favorite noodle joints are apparently closed on Tuesdays for some unknown reason. It was a Tuesday and my family was craving noodles so thus, Pho Mai's time finally came. On the upside, their spring rolls were some of the best I've had. They were very fresh and tasty. I would probably drop in just to get an order of those. Their Banh Mi was also pretty good BUT, they didn't have half as much meat on them as my favorite Banh Mi maker, Yummy Deli, which is about five miles closer to me and has prices that are 35-40% lower for a product that it just as tasty and much larger.

Finally, we come to the Pho. In the greater Seattle area, Pho and Chinese food share a key distinction. There a LOT of options and most of them suck. This one didn't suck but it was not as good as my usual places. The flavors seemed muted and the meat was a little slimy tasting. My kids liked it fine but they're young, addicted to pho and lacking in experience. In my 15 year-old's world, that old saying about pizza is her reality. To her there's no such thing as bad pho. I, on the other hand, have had a lot of pho where the broth tasted like under-flavored dirt-water and the meat was super tough and chewy so I'm a bit more discerning. This pho was just kind of blah so I won't be eating pho here again unless someone else drags me there and...

Happy Pho in Everett truly stands out as one of the best destinations for pho aficionados, offering an absolutely amazing dining experience. Despite its history of changing ownership, the current owner has undoubtedly elevated the restaurant to new heights, reminiscent of its former glory days. This nostalgic revival fills me with joy and appreciation for the dedication and effort put forth by the current proprietor.

The menu at Happy Pho is a testament to culinary excellence, with almost every dish delivering a gastronomic delight. Each bowl of pho is crafted with precision and care, resulting in flavors that dance on the palate and leave a lasting impression. It's evident that the owner has a deep passion for Vietnamese cuisine, as every dish reflects authenticity and attention to detail.

Beyond the delectable food, the staff at Happy Pho exude warmth and friendliness, enhancing the overall dining experience. Their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate patrons contribute to the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere, earning them a well-deserved 10/10 rating in customer service.

In conclusion, Happy Pho in Everett is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where patrons can indulge in the finest Vietnamese cuisine. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of an unforgettable dining experience. Thank you to the owner and staff for consistently delivering excellence and keeping the spirit of Happy Pho alive...

My family has been coming here for years and I've been meaning to write a review for ages. Finally getting around to it. We came here tonight because it was my 9 year old son's top choice for his birthday dinner. They graciously allowed us to bring cake & also brought us cake plates/forks/servingware, which was not expected, but appreciated.

Prior to and including tonight's birthday dinner, we have always received exceptional service. They have an AWESOME simple, yet flavorful, broth that is sure to delight. We have always been beyond happy with the quality of any food/drink brought to our table.

Additional point of interest: delivery. my husband and I have always avoided Pho delivery, because it just does not tend to keep well even after a short period out of the kitchen. you really want Pho suuuper fresh. We were really wanting some recently and decided to try delivery from Pho Mai (happy pho) and were beyond impressed with the lengths they go through to allow delivery customers the most fresh experience possible. All ingredients were separately packaged, (raw meat, veggies, broth, noodles) so you could assemble as desired, super fresh and prefect, at home... some may find receiving raw meat via delivery to be a negative, but any real Pho lover would be grateful.

100% recommend Pho Mai (happy Pho) for anyone looking for excellent pho in the Everett area!

Great li'l pho spot on Evergreen in Everett! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Not a ton of customer service, but I suspect they do a fair amount of takeout. We started with the wanton wrapped shrimp, which were crunchy and delicious. I could've eaten a whole plate of them. Then came the pho. The rare beef was right on, and so was the brisket! The broth was flavored perfectly. Rare beef sliced thin as can be, so it cooks in the broth, served just under boiling. And the brisket was tender. Lots of meat in both bowls. Good meat/noodle/veg ratio. I'd like it if they served sake or some sort of limited cocktail menu - which I always miss when I go out for pho. And I also wish the Thai iced tea was not pre-mixed. There should be separation between the tea and the cream. Tea on bottom, cream on top. I love the laughing buddha & lucky coi that greet you at the door. Don't forget to leave him a coin or two for luck! Lots of parking in a strip mall next to the UPS store. I'll eat here again.

This place is incredibly delicious! First off the food come to you nice and hot. Unlike most places where it's warm at best. Serving temperature here is perfect! Now the basics like Pho. Knocks it right out the park! Perfect balance of meat, noodles, and veggies. The broth is by far the best in my opinion. Ive tried several pho restaurants, to major pho chains. This place take the number one spot! The vermicelli bowls are incredible as well. Huge serving worth sharing! Again perfect balance of fresh veggies, meat, and vermicelli noodles. Most importantly is the seasoning of their meat. Its near perfect!
