I’m on the fence… The service was amazing but the food was good but borderline okay… I would want to go back at least one more time to try different items to see if its better but I doubt I’d go out of my way to get it like this visit. Parking: Shared retail parking lot Pet friendly: No Family friendly: Yes FOOD – disclaimer: this was a take out order. 1. Raspberry Mousse (vanilla sponge, raspberries mousse, raspberry glaze): 2 Stars – This was okay… The sponge was moist and overall it wasn’t too sweet which was good since everything else was kind of overkill. The mousse was a bit too firm if that makes sense 2. Snow White (vanilla cake, lemon cream cheese mousse, white chocolate ganache): 2 Stars – For me it was unexpected to taste lemon. To be fair when I went in the pastry shop, they don’t have any description outside of the name of the items. They didn’t have any more slices in the case but they said they had more so I actually purchased this solely based on the name. 3. Truffle Tart: 3 Stars – If you love chocolate this is the one for you – chocolate crust, chocolate sponge, chocolate mousse with chocolate topping. I think I would have liked this more if I didn’t have the chocolate cake from Touba Bakery. 4. Napoleon (puff pastry layers filled with custard cream and vanilla and chocolate glaze): 3 Stars - I love a good Hong Kong Napolean so I figured I’d like to try this as its similar with you know, less “stuff.” Plus its puff pastry, who doesn’t like a good flaky pastry. OMG this hurt my teeth so much. After the first couple of bites, I realized it’s the vanilla and chocolate glaze so I chucked that off my plate. The custard cream had great flavor but that’s all I can really say about this pastry… 5. Croissant: 5 Stars – THE BEST THING I HAD from this place. I actually had the croissant first so my it set my expectation pretty high when I turned my attention to the pastries… Very big, flaky, buttery yet super light and it doesn’t hurt it was $4 only. MENU/RESTAURANT: I kind of have low expectation going into the shop… only because where you park your car you can only see the door and a hallway. The one large window they had was the view of their kitchen. I actually was expecting something very industrial, without a sit down area. Once you walk down the hallway, it opens up to a little area that is bright with 3 large cases to display their pastry. Everything looked so pretty with all the great colors, cakes, and friendly staff. I will say, I didn’t even notice the wall menu as I just was staring at the pastry LOL I ordered based on the visual (or also not visual since I didn’t see the Snow White) and the names… The menu I did see didn’t have cake details either. You can visit their website that has some description but these are based on their cakes. SERVICE: The team was so friendly which is one of the reason I do want to go back and maybe try the pastry while I’m there vs. take home. The person that at the front was very vibrant – personality and style. She leaned hard into the French theme while everyone else was in “standard” uniform.

I never do reviews but after talking to a friend she suggested I just leave a review. I used to go occasionally for sandwiches when my work schedule allowed before I moved. It has been several years since my last visit but I was not disappointed. I decided to stop by and picked up a lemon meringue tart and a croissant. The tart was tasty but the croissant... I'm sad I only picked up one. It was hands down the best croissant I've ever had. Crisp flakey outside, soft butter fluffy layers. Words do not do this croissant justice, the only thing i can say is yhat there were no crumbs left when i was done. I brought it home and made it into a sandwich. I really wish I had gotten a few more to just enjoy plain because it was perfect!

The only problem we encountered was trying to narrow down which one we wanted. In the end, we got one of each. The purple pear cheesecake was the smoothest, creamiest cheesecake I've ever eaten. The Napoleons were so flaky, I will definitely order 2 next time so we don't fight over who gets to finish it. The raspberry mousse cake looked absolutely mouthwatering. Too bad it was the 1st to be snatched out of the box before we even left the parking lot. Same with the lemon cream cake and chocolate cream puff. Eyes rolling back in their head and the constant "OMG" and "Mmmm" were the only feedback on those. 😄

So I ordered a Buche de Noel (Yule Log) for my husbands Aunt's Christmas Eve party it cost me $47.00. I forgot until it was 3:23 on Christmas Eve (they closed at 3:00) and called the bakery hoping someone was still there. I lucked out, or so I thought I had, the baker's wife, whom I have had a run in with once before, answered the phone. I said how grateful I was that she answered the phone and was there any chance I could come down and pick up my cake and that I could be there in less than 10 minutes. She informed me my cake must have been picked up by one of my family members and when I told her no it hadn't she barely hid her anger that I had disagreed with her. She put me on hold for 5 minutes, which by the time she came back to the phone I was almost at the bakery, when she came back she basically called me a liar but said she would give me another one but that I needed to quit yelling at her, even though it was her yelling at me. When I arrived at the bakery she was silent and rude. I told her profusely that I appreciated her doing this and she never acknowledged anything I said until I wished her Merry Christmas and all she said was a very curt "Thank You". If it weren't for the baker's ability to make fantastic desserts I personally would never go back. I felt like she was accusing me of basically stealing, but the truth is they were probably so busy at the end of their day mine was sold to someone and mine wasn't replaced. I am not saying she didn't have reasons to be upset but truly she needs to realize we are who makes their paychecks and if she wants to stay in business much longer she needs to change...

This place is awful. Paid 48 bucks for a fruit tart. The instructions I was given was to not put anything on top of the cake. Never was I told to keep it refrigerated. By the time we got to it for my boss to blow out her candle it had all fell to pieces. I then called the next day. The person working asked for my number and someone would call me back. I got a call back from the owner on my voice mail to give him a call back the following day.( Which I called the same day I got the voice mail. I didn't wait) well the call back was pointless! The owner told me to call back just to say sorry your going togetting a refund. What was the point of the call back to them if he was going to say that? I told him what his working instructed me and I ask him who would put anything on top of there cake. He responded some people do...really? There was no point to the call what so ever so I told them good bye. Yes I will take my business some where else! Rhe don't open on time and it seems like it's all about money to this person now. Not...
