PNW Teriyaki — Restaurant in Everett

I really hope it's just a sourcing issue due to covid but I noticed a large drop in their quality. I use to order from them all the time when I lived in the area and it was sooooo good! I decided to swing by after work today to get my old favorites as I have had a rough weekend and wanted something that always had made me feel happy before. The rice was bland and too mushy. Almost like they forgot the vinager and sugar and then let it sit too long. The salmon was very tough and a bit slimy, not the buttery melt in your mouth texture you expect from salmon. I ended up just eating the crab salad portion of my bowl and tossing the rest. When I end up with bland California rolls I usually mix my wasabi with my soy sauce to get a bit more flavor, but the amount of wasabi they provided for two rolls was no where...

The food I received was overwhelmingly salty. I ordered a chicken and beef combo, which had generous portions of meat at a reasonable price. However, the taste was dominated by saltiness, likely from an overly salty marinade and excessive teriyaki sauce. Reducing the salt or sauce significantly would improve it. I couldn’t eat this again as is. Still, I gave two stars instead of one because the service was quick and friendly. If they adjust the seasoning, it could be a great value. I hope they see this feedback, make changes, and invite me to try it...

I was surprised to see the 3.9 stars ?! We ordered the pork yakisoba, katsu chicken teriyaki, pork teriyaki, shrimp fried rice . It was excellent!!! The food wasn't greasy like previous reviews stated the yakisoba had plent of fresh vegetables, the shrimp fried rice had plenty of shrimp and veggies, there were extra sauces provided with plenty of napkins nicely folded around utensils. The portion sizes were so big and quality was there too. It sounds like the new management has really turned things around this restaurant deserves better stars!!! We...
