Tacos Faenas — Restaurant in Everett

My wife and I bought dinner here for the first time this evening. We ordered 2 Enchiladas. 1 Chicken and the other Pork. We also ordered the Super Burrito and a Kids Fiesta meal Chicken Nuggets and a Cheesecake and Coca-Cola. We went to the drive thru and ordered. The outside menu does not have any prices displayed on it. Please do not let that worry you at all. The prices are a little bit higher than expected but the quality of the food was exceptionally higher than I expected. I absolutely love locally-owned businesses and me and my family frequent them often. I have to tell you that the food we purchased was very well prepared. Our order was delivered to us in a very timely manner. We only had 1 problem with the order and that was when we checking it we could not find the cheesecake. So we went back to the window and asked where it was and the waitress said it was in there. Well she had thought that when I ordered I said cheese dip, so we had cheese dip and chips in the bag and not what I had asked for. So what I assumed was either the manager or the owner, came to the window and straightened everything out. They were out of cheesecake so she offered us the 3 Milk Cake. We said yes and she told us we could keep the Chips and dip. Everyone was satisfied and that was that. The manager/owner was very polite and handled the situation like a true professional. All the staff that was there was kind and polite. I have to say that the super burrito did not last very long. My wife is a very picky eater and even she enjoyed it. I say this cause the burrito was out of this world good. Hands down one of the best I have ever had thru a drive-thru. Whoever is in that kitchen cooking is putting a lot of love in it and it shows. The enchiladas were exceptional as well. It came with rice and beans and 3 enchiladas. Now I have to say this cause for one, because it is true, and the other reason is because you have to know to get this if you do go. I absolutely do not like 3 Milk Cake. I tried it anyway cause you never know, right? Well it was the best 3 Milk cake I have ever had in my life. When I cut it with a fork the Milk beaded out of the cake like it was crying. Man was it good. I would eat another piece right now if I had some. So if you are still reading this then if you like Mexican food then go try this place out. I have included a photo of the drive thru window. I did that because it shows you how long they have been the best and have helped support the Special Olympics. They kept the menu so well that it is misleading. Tonight we ordered Steak Picado...menu says it comes with mushrooms, turned up without, Called them and were told it doesn't come with mushrooms and hasn't done for a while............Update your cruddy online menu.

We got lots of sorries from the 2nd person on the phone, no offer of a refund or even a replacement menu choice as we explained we had specifically ordered that dish as it had mushrooms in it, the picture on the website menu even shows steak picado with mushrooms for gods sake!!!

Now to quality..........steak picado........it was cheap skirt steak that had not been tenderized and was over cooked so it was chewy and tough on the upside the sauce was quite rich and pleasant if a little over salted. I also wish the mexican food joints didn't make the re-fried beans so thinned out that it is almost a soup............it is most unattractive and is not how re-fried beans are supposed to be................use the mantra "LESS IS MORE" less water thinning out the beans means more happy customers, happy customers means more orders, more orders means higher profits, if you have more orders coming in and need to order more produce/meat and supplies, you will have better buying power with your suppliers and can negotiate a...

We used to order from this place a lot, we lived in the area and would walk there during nice weather and continued to order through COVID, we didn’t want them to close because we loved them so much! We moved about a year ago and have ordered from them occasionally but not nearly as often as we used to. It seems as though the quality has gone down, portion sizes have gone down, just overall not as good of an experience as it used to be. This most recent order I got the deluxe quesadilla which is something I used to always get and it was just lackluster. It never came with fries before but I noticed on the online menu that it stated it did, “ DELUXE QUESADILLA / FRIES Flour tortilla melted Monterrey and Jack cheese, mild salsa fresca (pico de gallo) served with fries“.
