What makes a good restaurant? Of course, great food and ambience play crucial roles. However, sometimes it’s the little things like a smile or being treated like family that truly make a difference. At Gyros Plus, I found this warm, familial atmosphere to be just as important as the exceptional food. As I dined in, I noticed customers coming and going, each greeted with a smile, asked about their meal, and wished well as they left. It felt like being part of a family.

But it’s not just about the friendliness; the food here is also good. The owner, who hails from Iraq and has lived in Lebanon, brings authentic flavors to life.

The Bests:

My search for the best falafel ends here. These falafels are incredible, unparalleled, may be the best i had in usa. The open kitchen lets you witness the fresh batches of dough being made for falafel, perfectly crispy on the outside and moist, buttery, adequately spicy inside—simply heavenly.

Did someone say ... Best halal cheeseburgers in the town. Yes. Freshly made patties with high-quality meat, onions, and tomatoes caramelized in the meat juices, topped with creamy shreds of cheese and nestled in pillowy buns, create absolutely delicious, juicy bites. Opt for a double patty for an even more delightful experience.

As you enter the restaurant, you’re welcomed by a big bowl of hot, fresh complimentary middle-eastern lentil soup. I know free food tastes good, but this soup is genuinely delicious. I’d happily pay for it every time, even if it wasn’t complimentary.

On Saturdays, they serve special Iraqi kababs—charred, smoky, and juicy skewers on top of flatbread. Nestle them in Iraqi pocket bread with grilled tomatoes and dip them in the delicious complimentary lentil soup.

Their slow-cooked Iraqi-style lamb shanks on yellow rice are another highlight. The tender meat, devoid of any gaminess, is a treat if you appreciate Iraqi cuisine.

The Goods:

They offer two types of shawarmas, of course Saj Shawarmas. While the Arabic shawarma is good, similar to others I’ve had in different places the Seattle, the Lebanese-style shawarma is unique and fabulous. Thinly sliced chicken with a crispy outside, cut from the rotating station, go for it.

I also enjoyed their mixed grill, which comes with three types of kababs: kafta, lamb, and chicken. The kafta kabab stood out among them.

The okays:

The Greek fries, abundant with garlic sauce and feta cheese, are nice but not a must-try.

Ambience:

The interior isn’t super fancy, but it’s very clean. Grab a seat in the traditional red carpet clad corner, time travel to the Middle East, and savor your meal. Gyros Plus Guys offers more than just food; it offers a genuine, heartfelt experience

*chicken is hand-slaughtered zabiha. But as always recommended,...

I searched for Greek places in the area that also had burgers, because I wanted to take my aunt lunch but my grammie doesn’t eat much variety. This was the one place I could find. I am SO glad that they did. I got a variety of food so I would have enough for a couple meals and I wouldn’t have to choose. I got the beef and lamb gyro. The only thing I would say is that, I would have loved feta on it and maybe a little less red onion, it was a very potent onion. The meat was seasoned to perfection. The tzatziki was delicious. 9/10 I got the stuffed grape leaves. It is always a hit or miss and they are my favorite. These, were delightful! The leaves were tender, the stuffing flavorful, and again the tzatziki delicious! 10/10 Last, I got the falafel. I find that over half the time it is really dry. These were not. They were flavorful and the dip was just the right addition to make them even better. I did also get the baklava and kataifi. I brought those home to enjoy later, but can’t wait to try them especially with everything else being so good I can only imagine they will be also. The gentleman who helped us was friendly and very inviting. He made the visit even better. 10/10 will visit again when...

I usually don't leave reviews but these guys impressed me in so many ways and definitly deserve a shout out. We have ordered from this spot numerous times but only through delivery so I'd never been in. My spouse had becaue she occasionally drives for DD and found this spot just around the corner from our house.

The food is always good. However, we were hungry and didn't want to wait for a delivery so I decided to drop in and order. They greated me, asked me how my day was, were extremely kind, like really impressively kind. I watched numerous drivers come in while I waited and it was like they knew all of them. They were so nice and courteous to each of them and had their orders ready with zero wait or confusion. They chatted briefly with some of them like old buddies and even knew names. The restraunt was clean, my order came up fast and even when I was leaving the gentleman who helped me made me feel like he genuinely appreciated my business and like he enjoyed what he did. I didn't feel rushed and their customer service was impeccable.

I will make the quick drive in every time from now on. I appreciate excellent service and food to match. This is where you...

We, a family of four, were on the way to a restaurant, kind of fancy, to conclude our vacation, in Seattle downtown when we received an alert of 25 minutes delay due to a crash on I-5. Then we decided to just take the first exit with some food places and forgo the other restaurant. We quickly googled “restaurants near me” and Gyro Plus captured our attention. We decided to give it a go. That was the best decision, we loved the place, a hidden gem, the food was incredible, so good, a true festival for our taste buds:) my teenage daughters are true culinary critics and even they praised the food. Atmosphere was cozy, down to earth, friendly and inviting. I’m glad the GPS delay alert caused us to detour and changed our dinner plans, we would have never discovered this place. We ordered chicken kebab and shawarma plates and baclava for desert. I wish I could try all menu items:)

We all really loved the food here! From when we walked in, the cashier was very warm and welcoming even when we needed a few more minutes to decide. There are many booths to sit at, so we chose one by the front door and the food was brought to us quickly. We got the garlic chicken shawarma plate, the falafel plate with no dairy products, the falafel wrap, and the garlic fries. Everything came out fairly quickly and was fresh and flavorful! I especially loved how the falafel was crispy on the outside but soft in the center, and the salad given was very fresh. You could tell everything was made to order, and we'll definitely be going back!
