Upon reading the last review, I think it is highly immature for a grown man to argue with an 18 year old employee. If giving money to your employees was “out of the kindness of your heart” then you would not be bringing it up in a disagreement. Almost as if to say “Look what I did for you.”
I have been a regular since the business was Organico’s. The reason I continued to be a regular when it became Peppino’s is because of Lindsey. I have seen her with customers and she is very pleasant and remembers her regulars.
I never had any issues with my food when the business was Organico’s. My latest visit to Peppino’s, I ordered the Penne Vodka. The “sauce” was like a broth, very watery. When I asked the cook, he knew it was not supposed to be like that, but served it any ways. I also ordered the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and there wasn’t any cheese inside. I have never complained to the owner because Lindsey worked there.
When Lindsey worked at Organico’s, she was constantly there. She’s a very hard worker. She was working two jobs and was extremely dedicated to both. Working constantly. She has brought in many customers and employees as well as trained employees, even while carrying into the transition to Peppino’s. She is a great asset to the business. It is a shame that she will no longer be working there. I will no longer be giving Peppino’s business.
Lindsey and Anna have both served me and made sure that I had everything I needed, including making sure the food is good whenever I am in there. They are both great!
If this establishment is expecting to be a sit down restaurant then servers should be getting tips. When I go to any other sit down restaurant, I tip my server. I do not tip the cooks. I expect my tips to go to the servers as they are the face of the business. They are the reason I tip in the first place. Also, cooks make consistent and more money than servers. I do not want my tips to go to a cook who knows the food is not up to par and serves it any ways. Another reason I will not be returning to Peppino’s.
How unprofessional it is for a grown man to argue with employees. If you don’t know how to act appropriately and professionally as a boss and an owner, you should not be operating a business.
Thank you and...
Read moreI was an employee here since it was organicos and the past three years I have put more dedication into this job more than anything. At age 14, and ever since, I’ve managed a business and trained other girls all my myself at organicos. My bosses from the past bragged about my work ethic and me being the hardest worker and the same continued after Hank, the owner of Peppinos, took over. I still showed my dedication to this new place since july though us employees were not informed of the transition. Originally, Hank took our credit card tips away from us temporarily when he took over, due to not making enough money for the business. It has been well over 3 months since then and business has picked up like crazy. After simply asking if our tips were still taken away temporarily, Hank claimed he never said that though two other employees remember him stating that we would get them back after the business picked up. He then claimed I target him constantly about our tips when I only asked one time ever since he took them away and he continued to say I was miserable! When trying to speak on the situation he told me he didn’t want to hear it, so his best employee quit. On top of this, us employees are forced into waiting tables, being underage and illegal, and many times in the past Hank has lost his temper in front of customers. Hank does not have the patience or temper to own and operate a business and takes advantage of his young employees. Don’t tip on card when you pay it does not go to the employees! Good food, great service,...
Read moreQuality is always top notch until tonight. We waited an hour for our pizza, only when it came it wasn't ours and was very burnt! I called because my family wouldn't eat it and I paid for something worth more. We were told to keep it since we opened it and that a new one would be sent out. I mentioned we waited an hour for the wrong pizza, and the surprising response was that we are busy. Wow. So the idiot delivery driver comes by and begs for the pizza back, which I now sampled out of starvation since we were told to keep it. It's so unsanitary for the driver to expect it back after being opened in our home--and illegal. We said no. Ours is on the way. We had apparently another 20 minute wait. Then five minutes later the delivery guy comes back with ours, which wasn't hot and that he didn't have five minutes before, which only makes me think he retrieved from someone else's house after wrongly being delivered. I flat out asked, and he said this is yours. I said I know it's mine but where did it appear from? No answer. With all the germs going around, I just served a pizza over an hour old likely from someone else's house, potentially touched by strangers, to my family that I paid almost $25 for. Never again! Fire that delivery driver! We were regular, faithful customers and this was disgusting and ridiculous. I should have just thrown them both away and called the...
