Update 11/5/22 went back tonight n got garlic the way I like it.. big chunks. So good. Thank you for doing that. It was delicious!!!

I was there today to get a medium pizza with garlic. The man said for a dollar extra I can get a large so I got it. I asked for a lot of garlic. I looked at the pizza n didn’t see the big chunks of garlic I had two weeks ago in 3 slices. Another man behind the counter looked at me weird. I wanted the chunks of garlic but didn’t get it. Also they charged me 4% extra for using my cc. I didn’t see any sign that is required by law that says it. They took it from under the cash register and put it in view. I shouldn’t have been charged since sign was not in view. Check your receipts that say non cash adj. pizza is very good but disappointed at the extra charge n not getting the chunks of garlic I had on my last visit hence the 3*.

12/4/22: went to get a pizza and asked for a lot of garlic. Not only was there not a lot I had to go n buy garlic at the store to add to the pizza. There is one gentleman who knows how I like it with a lot of chopped garlic but he wasn’t there. See the slices with the garlic in other picture. That’s how I like it. If you use a cc they add non cash adjustment to order. I had to warm up pizza at home since it was not hot. Hopefully next time it will be better....

First off, the food is wonderful!! But what makes this place better is the fact that Maria and Sal love their customers. My parents have been going there for a few years and we’re recently hospitalized with covid. I thought it would be nice to get them something they loved so I called Maria up and ordered them food. When I went to pick it up she took the time to write a nice little note on both bags wishing my parents a speedy recovery. After 5 days in the hospital it was nice to hear both of my parents sound happier not just because of the amazing soup and bread or the cheese steak and fries, but because they took the time to wish my parents well too. What other place will you find that much love? So with this all said, there’s not another way place I would ever want to go to receive amazing food or love and affection I and my parents have gotten through good and bad times. I wasn’t planning to get pizza, but the delicious garlic smell was wafting into the UPS store nearby and I had to go get a slice. It was so good, that we went back a couple of days later. This pizza shop is truly a hidden gem. We haven’t tried their NY slice (as a NYer it makes me a bit nervous!), so no guarantees there, but we tried several of their square slices and they were all amazing. The dough is sort of like a thin focaccia, crispy on the bottom but still soft on the inside. The tomato sauce is perfect, rich and not too salty as some are.
