HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!
First off, I am not the type to write reviews. But due to the HORRIBLE treatment I received tonight, I felt the NEED to inform everyone so that no one else goes through what I faced tonight.
I went in asked for a couple slices of pizza, they did not have pizza at hand (it was close to closing time, fine not a problem we bought what they had)
Went to pay and they don't accept cards for orders below $10 (ok not problem) UNTIL the person who was tending the register in snarky attitude says "Do you have cash? We don't take cards under $10", this would not have been a problem unless this person was not being rude!
For a pizza place you would think that you would be nice to customers as word of mouth is important for business.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE. THIS GUY TECHNICALLY THREW THE BOX OF PIZZA AT ME!
Save yourself the trouble and do not go here. There are many other pizzerias in Fair Lawn with far TONS of better customer service and pleasant people who know that by treating someone right you will get them to come back.
I don't know about you but I work hard for my money and I paid for the pizza it wasn't given to me as a gift or price IT WAS NOT FREE no one deserves to be treated the way I was treated...
Read moreI have been eating at Belle Vita since 2003, when I moved to Fairlawn.
The place has alway had extra great pizza, the owner/pizza maker having honed his skills in the dog-eat-dog pizza capitol of Brooklyn, NY where pizza HAS to be top notch or you close shop.
It has not dissappionted all these years.
12 years ago, I moved from Fairlawn to another town (4 miles) away, but still occasionally come back for their pizza.
The place has lost traffic since Shoprite moved a few miles away a few years back (2 or 3 years ago), but the pizza quality still remains the same.
I especially recommend their chicken marsala pizza. You used to be able to buy it by the slice, when there was more traffic.
Now, you have to buy it by the pie (less business due to Shoprite), but it's to die for, and I am sure your family will love it.
And the service is still just as good.
I am 23 years a Belle Vita pizza fan. Still just as good as the first day I moved into Fairlawn,...
Read morePerfect balance of crust, sauce, cheese and flavor. Have you ever picked up a slice of pizza out of the box and it immediately flops down away from your mouth aiming for your shoes? This pizza is NOT that! If you've ever bitten into your slice of pizza and the entire topping comes with it and lands on your chin, this pizza is NOT that! Unless you like pizza topped designer shoes and a third degree burned chin this pizza is not for you! With endless choices of pizzerias in Bergen County, and having tried quite a few of them myself, Bella Vita surpasses them all with a basic large cheese pie. I live outside of their delivery perimeter, (which could be bad or could be good), but well worth a drive (even with the high price of gas) to their restaurant for take out or having it delivered when visiting a friend within the delivery area. It's by far the best...
