I really like the customer service and the attitude there. I really appreciate the scenery and atmosphere. Overall, I appreciate the much needed halal presence.
They went through the lengths and followed my request of exemptions. They got my order correct the first time. GrubHub indicated that my order was ready however when I got there it wasn't and no problem because they were very considerate of my time by relaying the status honestly.
It's not easy owning a business especially a halal restaurant and in this economic climate and atmosphere the restaurant business requires guts. I understand the supply chain shortage. I understand the employee shortage in the restaurant industry. I understand the rise and supply cost. So if these are the reasons why I received the quality that I received I suggest better management of the quality control if you are going to charge the prices that you charge for this menu.
I understand they cook with a conveyor belt oven but I just don't want to taste it or tell it. If you choose a hamburger patty and GrubHub has required me to select a cook on that burger I don't want to tell that it was a patty nor do I want it to be so dry after I've chosen a medium cook on the burger. If you choose to use pizza cheese on a cheeseburger(which just doesn't happen to do any cheeseburger any type of Justice) I don't want to be able to tell it, when it cost $11.
Although this was one of the best I've ever tasted, If you serve me a $6 mango Lassie I don't want to feel cheated with it being only 10oz.
If you were going to serve me "grilled" fish I expect to know what type of the fish, and for there to be a seer at the very least, grill marks, and the fish not to be so wet, for $13.
If all those limitations are the case, the fact that I can't tell should be the selling point of their menu and would justify paying that price.
This restaurant has way more potential. With that customer service I know they're not incompetent, but the quality has definitely steeped to an extreme low than...
Read moreI’ve been going here for years but my most recent experience has got to be the must unlike the others. This place has been ruined with the new management. I went there to take my nephews and told them it used to be my go to spot. First off while waiting on the food, there was an unusual amount of mosquitoes at my table. It increased 10 folds when we got our food to the point where I had to wrap up my sub to go so I don’t accidentally swallow a bug. I complained to the only employee working and he said it was because all the mosquitoes sneak through the door when someone is entering or leaving the restaurant which I find really unlikely since no other restaurant has ever had that issue. The next thing is I ordered the meatball sub which was ok other than the part that the meatballs were literally crunchy. I don’t know what’s wrong with it and thought it might have still been frozen and that’s why it’s not as soft as it’s supposed to be. Again I told the employee and again I got an 0 effort excuse which was if I was to get soft meatballs then the rest of the sub would’ve had to turn black from being so burnt. I don’t know what he expected me to say to that but that is such a bad excuse that has a lot of solutions like why don’t you thaw out the meatballs before placing them in but I’m not gonna show him how to do his job. Another thing is I feel like with the new management they only care about the casino machines that have been added to the restaurant and really don’t care about the dining...
Read moreThe second you walk into the place you are greeted by an amazing, kind man who delivers amazing customer service to you and lets you explore the menu after helping you to a seat.
We got a variety of items, including a lamb gyro, a special chicken gyro, 6 pc wings, 8pc chicken tenders w/ fries, a medium side of fries, and the tandoori sandwich.
This food was some of the best we ever had, and coming in around 10pm, the service was beyond exceptional - the temperature of the food was amazing and the amount of food you get is worth way more than what you pay for.
The gyro that I had personally was full of hot, melted cheese and was loaded with lamb. As for the fries, the seasoning on them is beautiful, with a meaningful coat of spice and salt mixed in the batch.
For us coming to a place for a first time, we never expected to enjoy this food as much as we did, and writing a review? Just know it doesn’t happen too often, but with this amazing food, we just had to support this business.
This place deserves to be packed 24/7 and we assure anyone thinking about coming here to not only come dine, but tell others about this place as well. 11/10 and we hope all the best to...
