This has been an ongoing issue with this location. I have been ordering honey mustard snack wraps for a couple of weeks. This location has consistently given poor-quality wraps. The tortilla is usually dry and the wrap itself is not wrapped letting everything fall out. Today was particularly ridiculous, it was a straight-up TACO. I didn't even attempt to eat it after all the lettuce fell out in my car and the honey mustard was all over the outside of the wrap, I have places to go. I took a complete detour from my day and went back to the location to speak to a manager about the consistency in how poorly these a put together and given to paying customers. I ordered a wrap, not a taco. I ordered this same thing yesterday from the other Fairbanks location and was served by 2 very young men, and the product was excellent. Above and beyond. They cut my snack wraps in two like a real wrap, it was super funny and appreciated. This brings me back to the location I was at today, which is being run by much more mature adults. I went from being disappointed and feeling like there are solutions available, to completely irate! There is absolutely no excuse for the things I was told today by an Arbys, manager? I didn't even eat my food, I opened the wrapper and noted the quality. I decided to bring it back to the restaurant to speak about the taco. You could see the creases in the broken stale tortilla. This is where I encountered Sylvie ( maybe Silvia), she would not acknowledge being the manager but stated she was in charge at the moment. I told her about the wrap falling apart and the lack of quality of the product which has been a consistent problem at this location. She told me the only thing they can do is remake my wraps. She was not open to any sort of dialogue. I have given them numerous chances to remake them by continuing to buy a product at a subpar level in the hopes that the experience would increase their knowledge. I did not find this an appropriate solution. This did not address the entire problem, especially considering the superior service that was delivered by the other location yesterday ( 7/9 @ 3:40 pm). When I explained this to the "manager" she explained that they hire a lot of people from other countries including Mexico, China, and somewhere else; THIS is where I was appalled!! Firstly, this felt like a training problem. Her mention of excusing her team's lack of quality and overall knowledge by ignorance from being from another country is disgusting. I am not saying this was racist, but it was extremely ignorant and I am repulsed with this whole situation. I understand this one woman doesn't represent Arbys as a whole, but she did in the moment. I told her this was an unacceptable answer and she became hostile. She told me that she could only remake my food or refuse service. I said it was clear she could not handle the problem and I asked to speak to a manager. She refused and would only respond that I was on camera. I have a disability and having this conversation in the first place was extremely difficult. To be met with passive-aggressive behavior and stonewalling over lunch is unacceptable. This was the worst experience and I want to thank you so much for it! This experience sealed the deal on getting back on track with a heart-healthy diet. I have felt terrible guilt every time I fall prey to my laziness and stop by this restaurant. This has just made it a perfect amount of guilt, disgust, and all around...
Read moreFirst, let me start off by saying I love the food at Arby's . For the most part, anyway. I will say that the quality of food up here in Alaska isn't the same as its counterparts in the States. But to be fair and honest, it's kind of that way with every place up here. But for the prices as high as they are, I would think that the staff would go above and beyond to be friendly, accommodating, and polite. I was shocked by how extremely unprofessional the staff are here. It's almost not adequate to say that they are very rude and extremely unhelpful. I tried to use the Arby's app to get a deal they offered, and was told that they "didn't know how to do that" and then I was told they could "give me a military discount instead". Which equaled NOWHERE near the discount i was asking for. When i asked if i could speak to the person in charge, i was informed, RUDELY, that this man was THE MANAGER. Finally, I suggested that if they weren't able to ring up the deal because he didn't have the knowledge to do so, perhaps they should just give us the things for free. ( the deal was for a 99 cents four piece mozzarella stick btw) after attempting to get us to say forget it a couple other ways, they finally gave in and gave it to us for free, but not before making it VERY clear that we were a serious inconvenience to them. Sum of the story: they were rude. They were not WILLING work with us at all and made us feel like jerks for wanting to be charged the advertised price. As far as terrible customer service goes, this ranks up in my top (or would it be bottom lol) 10 for fast food restaurants. ** I'm not unreasonable, nor am i an overreacter. Im definitely no "KAREN," lol. I get that sometimes the app doesn't line up with the stores prices or policies but in those cases, shouldn't they just accommodate their customers and then work on getting the issues fixed on the app or whatever the problem, on the store or corporate level? I don't think it should be made to be our fault or problem? I just STILL CAN'T believe how we were treated. I will not go to THIS store again, EVER. At least not as long as the same employees or at LEAST managers are still working there. Because, full disclosure, this was actually the third or fourth time I had major issues with pricing and the customer service at this same store. The majority of my interactions have been just absolutely horrendous. I suggest you go somewhere else if you want to get good food, with good service and good deals... without being hassled in the process. I'm just saying... Get your stuff together, Arby's. Or get staff that are worthy of...
Read moreI cannot review the food as I have still not had Arby’s. However, I was in the drive through last night at 10. I sat there for 10 minutes while the car in front of me didn’t move. In the parking lot there were two vehicles, I’m assuming there were only two people working. Anyways, another vehicle pulls up and one of the workers, a younger girl, runs out to see what they need. Meanwhile another worker, some guy, comes out and she asks him to help with this and he’s a total jerk to her. She looked really stressed and like she was holding the whole store together. I give her a full 5 stars, she deserved it. However, the other guy who decided he needed to “take a break” 30 minutes before closing… I’m not as impressed with. Obviously, I only saw this small interaction so I’m not saying he’s a bad guy, but I hope the girl working last night gets some sort of...
