Wow...This place was a horrible dining disaster. The food was good- which gave it the 2nd star- but that's the only good thing I can say about the place. Service was absolutely horrible with a vastly understaffed crew. The two women working the bar were both angry and crotchety people and would be better in a back office vs a customer facing position. The two guys were trying their best but could not keep up with the crowds (I watched 11 parties leave as there were no other tables). Meanwhile we waited endlessly for service and later some food...During the meal noone checked back or refilled water.They just rushed by us..We skipped the desert we may have had as we didn't want the wait.. Had to scream out for someone to come over and clear our plates and bring us a check..(after having waited 15-20 minutes as servers rushed by us ignoring us)..She said she would bring us the check but never did..Had to then yell out another time to a second person and gave him my card before checking the bill knowing it would be another long wait if I had not. (Thankfully the bill was correct)..This is an establishment where customer service is non existent and horrid and the hotel loses revenue due to skipped menu items not ordered and customers who walk out and leave. As such it leads to a viscous cycle where they don't see the revenue and therefore don't invest into it leading to really service leading to more lost revenue for the hotel. Read moreI did not enjoy my time here at Zack’s restaurant in Sophie Station. the waiters we had were Seth and Linda they were both rude and they made it clear a point they did not want to help our table. we were very mixed group and it felt though they were trying to ignore us and not really help us when it came down to doing their job. it was very very unprofessional as we were coming there to relax and enjoy a night after work. the food was good but the experience made us not wanna come back. I really hope that Seth and Linda or reprimanded for this as their service made one of our coworkers very uncomfortable closer to the end of our evening and she ended up leaving before our evening was over. They didn’t offer any advice, as none of us had ever been there. They were rude and avoided helping our table. I felt rushed when it came to ordering my food, and my coworker felt so uncomfortable, and they didn’t even ask her for the quantity of the extra food she was wanting before she left. Read moreCame here on a Monday night. Had 1 server, and 1 bartender. Started out friendly and courteous. Lounge started to pick up and was only the bartender as our server, brought our drinks and food, after that he never asked if everything was good, never brought a refill or asked if we'd like a refill, after being finished eating our meals for about 15 minutes, he came to get plates, then didn't return again for another 20 minutes, with checks in hand, I wanted to inquire about deserts but wasn't even given a chance, didnt ask if we'd like anything else, just set down bills and walked off without saying a word. Another server had to pick up our checks and process then and bring them back. The Scampi Linguine was overwhelming lemon flavor and couldn't taste the buttery/garlic flavor that scampi is known to have. Could just be the style of dish but I wasnt satisfied at all.
