First off I don’t like to complain . I work in the restaurant business. So you really got to drop the ball for me to say something. I got to tell you this was a special experience. I phoned in a pick up order. They said it would be 30 minutes. I went to pick it up. I stood there for 45 minutes after I paid for my pizza. They were busy, the people working didn’t seem to care about the people waiting and it was a lot of people. Some of the other customers were really getting impatient and rude which in turn made the employees really move slow and not want to get things done at all . You could here them threatening to quit ,walk out ,cursing etc.. .I left without my pizza after I paid because I decided I didn’t probably wanna eat anything coming out of there, I worked in the restaurant industry for 35 years so I know what goes on back there ,and it wasn’t anything good . I surely wasn’t eating anything coming out of there . I knew I wasn’t gonna get my money back because the manager wouldn’t even come out there. he tried to give a guy his money back for a beer that they couldn’t pour because the draft was not working, he couldn’t do that. He’s said he would have to call somebody to try to give him his money back. So I paid and left without my pizza or my money back. I would warn everyone to stay far away from that place. It’s special. Read morei ordered a timed order for pickup at 8pm through the call center. the order was 3 large pizzas for pick up at 8pm. i called back less than 5 minutes to make a change to the order to use coupons. a different call center associate altered and confirmed the changes i made. the altered order was 2 separate timed orders; first order was 2 large pizzas and second order was 1 extra large pizza, both for pick up at 8pm. i arrived at 8:10pm, the restaurant associate said only the 1 extra large pizza was placed for pick and no other orders. i explained the timeline of my order and the alterations. he said the restaurant wasn’t able to make any changes to orders placed via call center only the call center had that ability. when the restaurant associate returned, I paid for both of the orders and he assured me the 2 large pizzas would be ready very shortly he offered a beverage while I waited. I kindly declined because he assured me the wait would not be long. and i waited at the counter. i actually ended up waiting for over 30 minutes. the pizzas were finally given to me at 8:42pm. from start to finish the experience was unpleasant. nothing about the ordering process was simplistic or convenient. the experience was annoying, convoluted, and the inconveniences were easily avoidable. i’m not confident in the capabilities of Cassanos and I will be hesitant in my...
Read moreI called in an order to Cassano's via their phone number. At that time, I asked the customer service gentleman if I could use the Reach Magazine online coupon when I picked my pizza up. He told me that I would just need to show Reach's website on my phone. Once I ordered my pizza and showed up at the Cassano's in Fairborn, an older lady working refused to accept my online coupon. I explained that the customer service representative told me that it would be honored. I even brought up Cassano's texting service that offers deals via text message. She denied both since they were not physical coupons. I left without the pizza.
Cassano's is one of my favorite pizza places but I will never visit the Fairborn location again. This was my second time ordering from there. The first time I ordered from the Fairborn location, I left concerned and disappointed. The workers at the ovens were laughing behind the counter, while they stared at me.
