I visited a take-out Japanese restaurant at the H-Mart Fairfax Food Court with modest expectations regarding the quality of the food. Surprisingly, the Chirashi Salad Bowl and the Sashimi Combo were fresh and flavorful. Initially, I thought the Chirashi Bowl might be too small for one person, but it was just the right portion. Lee’s Sushi is a small sushi restaurant located inside the Grand H Mart on Jermantown Road in Fairfax. It’s more like a food court with a bunch of other Korean eateries, including a small Paris Baguette bakery. Sushi is made on order, fast and reasonably priced, and fairly good. We tried a dinner sushi combo of spicy tuna, salmon, different tuna and eel rolls with a side miso soup, and a sashimi salad bowl. The ramen soup bowl might have to wait until cooler...

this place is so unsanitary. I went there and saw the chef with gloves on handling a ton of cash and coins in the cash register w a customer - and then he went right back into the kitchen using the SAME gloves and proceeded to use his dirty hands to make sushi for a customer. Absolutely disgusting. I saw this and walked right out. Go here if you want your sushi to taste like...
