Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Fairfax

This is a clean take-out storefront. I don't give 5 stars for atmosphere because these kinds of places have no ambience, but the staff is friendly and helpful, my carry-out order was done before the given time, and the pizza we ordered, Ultimate Magnifico because the better half loves pepperoni and sausage, was very tasty, all the ingredients were great, and the cup pepperoni were amazing. We will be back for sure, we already have our eye on other pizzas and some of the hot subs. I did have a bit of trouble ordering. You can't bring up the menu without starting an online order. And, the app told me that the location I picked was not taking "deferred time orders," which is actually what every order is, I wanted ASAP and the app would not let me, told me I needed to pick a time, and then did not give me a time option, so I had to use the website. Pizza was tasty but taking off stars due to poor delivery. It was raining outside so I tipped generously online (I’m a former delivery driver so I understand that bad weather makes driving more difficult) but after waiting over an hour, I was surprised that we hadn’t heard any doorknocks or received any phone calls or confirmation that our pizza was delivered. I called the restaurant to ask about my order status and they shared that the pizza was already delivered. I looked outside and my order was soaking wet from sitting in the rain. We had to put everything in the oven to dry it off and reheat the food. I recommend that Marco’s implements some sort of email or text/phone notification system that shares the status of delivery orders so other customers won’t...

Update: October 2023- My neighborhood had a Halloween party yesterday and I ordered 20 pies from Marco’s. So many people asked where it was from and everyone enjoyed it! I can’t say enough good things about their customer service. Brady was especially so helpful in helping me figure out what would be the best for a crowd that large and his communication and patience with my order didn’t go unnoticed. I will surely go back to this location for our next party. A+ from start to finish.
