My Empanadas — Restaurant in Fairfax

Coming from working in the Restaurant industry, this was a pretty poor experience. Came in the tables were we were sat were dirty, the lady that greeted really tried her best, but she certainly seemed very overwhelmed. She had 3 tables including us, was struggling to hand out the drinks, food and utensils. My girlfriend and I shared one fork to eat all the meals. It took about 10 min to be greeted, 10 min to get our drinks and then receive one set of utensils. The pan con chicharrón was good 8/10, the papá rellena was good as well 8/10 and the tamal was decent 7/10. Food was solid but the overall experience was bad. More staffing is needed because you can’t give good service if you have to take the orders bring the drinks cook all the food. She really tried her best and I commend her but also, the way she did things didn’t seem efficient. More staffing and a little more attention to detail on the service and you guys...

Great Beef Empanadas, Authentic Peruvian Style and good papaya smoothie I am Peruvian and it’s hard to find empanadas in NOVA that are really 100% Peruvian style. Specially the pastry dough. This place uses the dough we use in Peru, or the one you find almost anywhere in Lima or the coast. A beautiful empanada with a bit of sugar powder on top of it served with pieces of lime. Just like in Peru! It was delicious, the papaya smoothie (fyi does not come with milk) was great as well. We finished our empanadas so I only took a photo of the juice left in the glass I highly recommend the place to stop and grab a snack or a lonche. (tea time).

After my car was broken into in the parking lot of my gym on a Sunday, I noticed multiple unauthorized charges from this restaurant on both my credit and debit cards, including charges of $500 and $382.87. These transactions were listed as in-person purchases, despite the fact that I live in New Jersey and the restaurant is located in Virginia. This is extremely alarming.

Upon reading other reviews, it’s clear that I’m not the only one who has experienced similar issues in the past two months. I strongly urge anyone considering this establishment to proceed with caution.
