Courthouse Plaza Shopping Center — Local services in Fairfax

This shopping strip is long overdue for a major makeover. It looks disgusting, and the parking lot looks scary at night. I can't believe that a Safeway and a CVS would be caught dead in such a dreadful shopping strip.

Notice in the attached photos that the bulbs in the signs of many stores are burned out.

The oddest part is that a gorgeous neighborhood is right across the street from this eyesore. The inside of many of these stores is equally disgusting. Please raze this shopping center, and build something worthy of the City of Fairfax.

The only reason why this place has such a high score is because of inaccurate reviewers who give every place they review 5 stars. That type of artificially score increasing review does no one any good. Be honest, or stop...

When I happen to be at the courthouse, the Safeway is very handy. There is a 7-Eleven across the street where you can get a Spicy Bite or several other sausage choices. Load it up with there miniature fixings bar. They have a hot chili and cheese machine, diced onions, relish, japs, diced tomatoes, and sauerkraut. Enjoy it with their $5 beer special - two 40 ouncers of your choosing. In Courthouse Plaza along with Safeway there is an ABC Store, a real good small Brewery, a boxing club, and a delicious Indian restaurant. This plaza could use more customers. It's sad to see closed down empty stores. Then again it seems voters prefer freebies to a good economy, like Ronald Reagan's....

Its alright. Theres a few good stores in here. It doesnt seem to be too busy which is a plus for people who want to get in and out. I think they're doing some construction because there used to be a mcdonalds which is no longer there. I like it because you can walk over to fairfax library. As well as to multpile office buildings. Its a good shopping center in the middle of...
