I recently visited the Arby's in Columbiana, Ohio, and while I was eager to indulge in what I anticipated would be a diverse selection of meats, the experience turned out to be somewhat underwhelming.
Arby's has long been known for its tagline, “We have the meats,” promising a wide array of meat options to satisfy various cravings. However, upon visiting this particular location, it became clear that their offerings were not as varied as one might expect. While the establishment boasts an impressive array of menu items on their advertisements, the reality was a bit more limited.
Firstly, the primary meats available were beef and roast beef. This focus on beef, while quintessential to the Arby's brand, left me hoping for more variety. For a place that prides itself on having a range of meats, the absence of other options such as turkey, chicken, or even more exotic varieties like lamb or fish was a notable disappointment. The menu had a few chicken items, but they were not the star of the show. This lack of diversity was especially surprising given the extensive marketing around their meat variety.
The food itself was acceptable but not extraordinary. The roast beef sandwich I ordered was serviceable, featuring tender meat with the familiar Arby's flavor, but it lacked the freshness and depth that would have elevated it. The beef was well-seasoned, yet the overall taste was somewhat bland compared to what I’ve experienced at other Arby's locations. The bun was standard, with no special qualities to note, and the accompanying toppings and sauces didn’t particularly stand out. The fries, while crispy, didn’t offer anything beyond the standard fare found at many fast-food joints.
Another aspect that could use improvement is the consistency of the food quality. Although the ingredients were decent, they didn’t come together in a way that made the meal particularly memorable. The food was okay—edible and satisfying enough to quell hunger but not remarkable enough to warrant enthusiastic praise.
Additionally, the service was efficient but not particularly warm or engaging. The staff performed their duties with professionalism, but the interaction felt somewhat mechanical. In the realm of fast food, where the customer experience can make a significant difference, a more personable touch could greatly enhance the dining experience.
In summary, while the Arby's in Columbiana, Ohio delivers on the promise of serving beef, it falls short in terms of variety and overall food quality. The experience is adequate for a quick meal but lacks the excitement and innovation one might expect from a brand that markets itself on having a wide range of meats. For those looking for a more varied and flavorful fast-food experience, exploring other options might be a more...
Read moreHorrible, horrible.
We live in East Palestine, OH. We were driving back from Alliance heading home, and stopped through the drivethrough to get some food.
Beside the 15 minute wait, when we were finally handed our order, they gave us two of our (ordered) lemonades, which were smalls. We informed them that we ordered large’s, which then were remade…great.
We were handed our food, with the bag open. And as I stated, 15 minutes later, we pulled out to head home.
My wife grabbed her fries out of the top of the bag on the way home to eat. They were ice cold. Expected, being the wait in the drive-through, and the bag handed to us wide open.
Myself, personally starving, as I work 12 hour shifts, just getting off work and running my errands, getting home ready to eat, opened the bag, and my portion of the ordered meal was not there. (Large #2 meal - Roast Beef Double w/ curly fries).
Sucked, being I was starving, though at this point, I was not driving back another 20 mins to get the food. (Wasting fuel in our Jeep, to get something they messed up).
I called and spoke to a woman named Brooke. Told her of the dilemma, and simply said I wanted a refund of the portion of my meal that we paid for that was absent.
She stated that isn’t possible, and I could drive back to receive the meal that was missing from our order.
I told her no, that was not acceptable, I did not want the food at this point, and again, wanted a refund.
Again Brooke said no.
Out of frustration, I then handed the phone to my wife to try to fix the issue. She asked for coupons or something to fix the situation, being they would not refund the missing half of the order, and obviously would not compensate for the waste of time or fuel cost.
Again Brooke said no.
So thanks Columbiana Arby’s for not only taking 15 minutes to make our food (with no one else in line), giving us cold food, giving us only half of our order, refusing to refund for YOUR employees mistakes, refusing to even give coupons, and stating your only way to rectify YOUR mess up was to remake the order, and making me use my own money to drive back and waste fuel in the process.
Completely poor customer service, and completely...
Read moreMost of the time when I stop here they can’t seem to get the order right. Even if it’s 2 items somehow I still manage to get the wrong order. I’ve also noticed that when you order a large fry which this happened today they give you the large holder but a small to medium order of fries
Would just like to add to this review. It seems like it’s the younger crew that runs the drive through is the problem. Yeah again I go through and get the wrong items and missing items. I used a coupon for the two can done for $9.99 classic roast beef. I asked for crinkly fry’s and added a mozzarella stick with marinara, I get home and no crinkle fry but curly fry instead and no marinara for the mozzarella sticks.
Adding more to my review, still about the same. Just went for lunch ordered a sandwich and a medium fry, paid for my food got back to work and to my surprise there was a small fry in the bag. The order was repeated back to twice and they still gave me...
