Factory 46 Tavern — Restaurant in Fairfield Township

I had a not pleasant experience here over the weekend. They served us expired beer (over 2.5 year old beer) and it took around 40-45 minutes for our appetizer of hummus to come out. We overheard the waitress tell another patron (who was nice) about how she got high and that made her constipated, we don’t need to know this information. Also the fact there was only 2 people in my party and one other table there of 8 people. The table all ordered actual meals where we only ordered the app of hummus. Any other restaurant I have gone to, would have made the hummus plate first since it takes less than 5 minutes to make, instead of making the table of 8 their meals. Instead we waited close to 45 mins for hummus!!! I told the waitress we would just skip the hummus but then of course she said they’re making it….got it 15 mins later. Overall not impressed. It was a waste of time and money. We didn’t even bother telling the beer was expired because it seemed the bar tender was already having a rough day with the music system not working and the beer on tap...

We got the giant pretzel app, but it wasn't hot - seemed like it had been sitting out awhile and was getting hard. Our waitress spilled water on the tray with our pretzel plus all over the table, so we had to ask for napkins. She brought my boyfriend the wrong beer (he didn't realize til after drinking it as he hadn't had it before). My boyfriend and I got grilled cheeses which were actually good, but we were eating there with his brother and sister in law... Their main food didn't arrive til we were basically done with ours. They also asked for a giant pretzel which never came (probably for the best and it wasn't on the bill). There was only one other table of people there at the time, so it's not as if it was crowded. We might give it another try, but...

I highly recommend this restaurant/bar in the tri-state area. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food is delightful. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Jennifer, in particular, is skilled at crafting outstanding drinks that enhance the overall experience. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a fun and relaxed day or night. It will certainly remain my top choice for...
