San Francisco Bay Area only has 3 Arby's. One is in the Mountain View area south of San Fran, the other is in Rohnert Park (headed toward Santa Rosa) and the 3rd is in Fairfield. The last 2 aren't technically in the Bay Area. But unlike other big restaurant fast food companies where you can find one on each of four corners everywhere, Arby's has wisely chosen locations.
I found the one in Fairfield the other day and it did not disappoint. Super clean restaurant. Smoking hot water in the in the very clean restroom (I always look for that), and friendly staff.
I ate 2 classic Roast Beefs and they were just like I remembered from years ago, so I went back to the counter and ordered a 3rd.
So impressed that I downloaded the app and went back today to test it out, and ate 2 more classic Roast Beefs.
Well worth the 25 mile ride on my motorcycle in this spring weather to get off and eat at Arby's. Probably be back tomorrow.
There is a 2nd Fairfield Arby's a couple exits away on the Travis Air Force Base. I haven't tried that one yet because I'm not sure they will let me go on the base.
I'll post some Arby Roast Beef pictures on my next visit!
In the meantime, eat here with confidence.
Only one downside...the restaurant is located in a super confusing switchback of dozens of restaurants off the same freeway exit and there is no Arby's sign showing they exist...either on the freeway or inside the labyrinth of restaurants.
To find it the first time,...
Read moreI drove 45 minutes to go to arby's I was disgusted when I got back on the freeway and reached into my bag it opened up my sandwich. I ordered the beef cheddar sandwich meal and a large soda kinda just under $15. My fries were OK they were not salted I got the crinkle cut fries my Dr Pepper which was a fountain soda tasted just like carbonated water there was no soda syrup in there practically it was almost see through. My sandwich while it was warm there was absolutely not absolutely not a single drop of sauce on the sandwich it was the meat the cheese and the button that's it now I know they're supposed to put sauce on it but they didn't they didn't even ask me if I wanted any horses or extra Arbys sauce and we all know it's the sauce that really makes the sandwiches they didn't put any in the bag. Every time I tried to catch the attention of somebody at drive-through while I was sitting at the drive-through window so I could get some sauce I was ignored they literally open the window shut the bag out and shut the window and turn to walk away it was just bad. $15 was wasted because I couldn't drink the beverage and the sandwich just was not what I was craving it was just a terrible...
Read moreOn a long drive from the Bay Area, heading North we decided to jump off the freeway and grab a bite to eat here. I am typically a fan of Arby's, but this stop left me a bit disappointed. The drive thru was very busy but the inside was completely empty so we decided to dine in. We had a group of 3 people I placed an order for 2 of us and the third person decided to go to Taco Bell next door. We sat down waiting for our order and considering we were the only ones inside, it seemed to be taking a while. I went back and asked about my order and the cashier said it should be ready in a minute. Meanwhile our third person came back already with food from Taco Bell and started eating. After a few more minutes I went back again and this time there was a different person who said she couldn't even find my order. After she got the other cashier from the back, they realized that she never gave my order to the kitchen. They finally got my order together and gave a half-hearted apology. We sat down to eat and realized one of our sandwiches was wrong but at that point we just wanted to eat and get going so I left it alone. Could just have been one of those bad days that everyone has but that was...
