They just renovated this place so that the inside and outside looks more modern and matches the newer McDonalds around. Some of the updates include a new play area for the kids and a touch screen order kiosk.
The outside looks very appealing and modern. My only critique is that when I pulled into the parking lot at 8 pm, it was hard to tell if the place was open because it looked dark inside. Other than that, all the updates are nice.
I ordered a kids hamburger happy meal with no ketchup or mustard and a chocolate milk. The food came out quickly and was still hot inside of the little red box. It came with a toy of course. I'm not going to spend much time reviewing the food. Its McDonald's and they are pretty consistent across the board.
The kiosk is like any other kiosk. They are pretty common over seas and have used them there. There is a button you can push if you need assistance but most everything on the menu is pretty common sense. Even if you want to do substitutions or customize your order.
The kids play area was clean and welcoming. Maybe just because it is new but hopefully it stays clean. There is a section underneath for smaller kids and the main play area is meant for kids above 4. My 2.5 year old played inside the big kid area and had a little difficulty climbing the large steps but he was able to negotiate it. He was timid when it came to the large curly tube slide but he eventually warmed up to it and went down the slide several times. He enjoyed the little kids play area because it had pictures that he could flip and spin around, a small slide, a ball that makes noise as well as another slide that sounded like a piano when you went down it. In addition to this, just outside the play area, there were video games that worked and a screen which had lights that would change colors when you touched it.
I dont know if they just didnt get around to it yet, but the bathrooms could use a little update. There was one stall, which was taken... so I had to hold my 2.5 year old while he peed in one of the two urinals available. It wasnt a big deal. One of the two sinks were broken and they only had the air hand dryers available with no option of paper towel. My trip to the bathroom was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe the bathroom renovation...
Read moreBy far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I would be surprised if anyone could find a worse McDonald's. This place looks like it hasn't got a lick of paint since the 90's. All the equipment and decor and even the drive through ordering box is degrading plastic from when Stone Cold was still wrestling. The cokes we had (usually high quality at all McDonald's) tasted like poison. It tastes like they poured a heaping spoon full of draino into our drinks. We went inside and got new drinks from a different machine and it was still awful and poisony. How they managed to ruin every drink machine in the place is beyond me. Furthermore, the entire place was being run by children talking trash about "who's closing tonight". Very unprofessional and also unhelpful. The woman that handed my our drinks in the drive through didn't say a word and also stared at me like she was a mute that has never seen a button up shirt before. Overall, the experience was awful. Even though all we got was drinks, this was the worst dining experience ever , hands down. Cordelia McDonald's is a disgrace to the McDonald's chain and deserves to be shut down...
Read moreMc Donald's is Mc Donald's. My kids love it.... Me .. eh, maybe if I'm starving. Stopped here after a visit to Scandia. The drive through was half closed and not moving with about 10 cars ahead of us. Decided to walk in and get our order to go (along with 3 other people). Well, first ... No one was willing to run the register to ring anyone up. Had to use the Kiosk. Ok.... Fine. They were obviously having the drive through as a priority ... I get it. But 40 minutes waiting on a To go order of just burgers and fries? (I mean basic cheese burgers and fries no "special" options other than a PLAIN hamburger for my boring kid 🤣). Then, I had to flag some one down to get straws. I'm not sure of they were short staffed, or of most of the team working were "new" and had no idea what they were doing..... Bit I feel like 40 minutes is excessive for fast food. There was also no comme t from staff (or manager) of an apology for the wait. A lot of times just acknowledging the people waiting can go a long way. I definitely don't feel my business was valued here. And will probably skip it if we're out...
