I went there, recently, with my husband and our friend. My husband really likes Queso Fondido and he was in the mood for Sopa de Mariscos. We were greeted nicely and seated promptly. We requested the table by the window and were switched. Our waitress was extremely friendly and was (most of the time) prompt. We ordered two Sopa de Mariscos, Queso Fondido, Elote Loco Asado, and Salmon. The waitress took a little longer with the drinks (I cut her slack because we ordered a water, two Horchata’s, and two Michelada’s- although it doesn’t take as long as she did). The Horchata’s and Michelada’s were excellent (huge fan of those drinks)! The appetizers came out quickly and were delicious. I love Elote Loco and was pleasantly surprised. The soup was amazing and my husband loved his. My rice was very salty and tasted like they added more salt to the top. We asked for white rice and got it immediately... although it tasted like Playdoh to me and was also very salty (I didn’t say anything because I am not a huge fan of salt so usually when I think something is salty, it’s not). The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is because although our waitress was very friendly and accommodating, the other staff/waitresses seemed cold. Also, I was not happy about the added money to the bill for the tip. Not a huge fan of restaurants who do that. That being said, I would be back for another visit despite the minor mishaps. Good food and...
Read moreEdit: Still great food but I can't get my family to come here now that they got rid of their hot plates and are using trays....... We used to come here several times a month or even week at times. I hope they do away with the food trays in the future. It feels like a cafeteria meal so now we go to Azucar instead.

Read moreNever again. We entered the restaurant, which was relatively empty, and saw a person seated at the back. After waiting several minutes, I pointed to our order which had been purchased and paid for online. When we walked near our packaged order, someone finally came to the front. She admonished that she would get our order. Mind you, SHE was nowhere to be found for several minutes for a prepaid order with a preset pickup time. When she placed the order in front of us, we had to remind her that we had also ordered drinks to go -- at the cost of $12.00 each.
We waited several more minutes for the drinks to be made. In the interim, another customer entered. Immediately, the person seated at the back came to the front to help the new customer. He had ordered ( without paying) but got immediate service. I don't know if being African American was an issue (I have yet to read the other negative reviews) but the person who came after us was white.
The food? Passable. The drinks were terrible. Both in 12 oz.. cups filled with ice mostly sour mix barely potable. Regardless of their motivation for poor service, I will avoid this restaurant...
