THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT ADA COMPLIANT!!! Unfortunately I had to rate everything a one star because I wasn’t even able to get a table, so how would I know if the food taste good lol. Anyways, my partner and I walk in with her service dog and automatically the man at the front says we’re not allowed to eat because we have a dog. We express she’s a service dog and he states unless he sees papers he’s not letting us eat. For those who are unaware even in a food service environment you are not allowed to ask for a service dog’s documentation. You can ask what tasks they can perform as well as if she is a service dog though. We try to communicate the information he was ignorant to. He then continues to talk over/ignore us and say he needs to see the papers. He refused to listen/serve us and a woman who worked there said she was allergic to dogs so the dog couldn’t be in the store. Overall this was an unnecessary approach to the situation. I completely understand allergies exist, but you are legally not allowed to deny service to anyone who has a service dog. And if this is a concern you’d think there would be a sign on the door stating this is what they do if a situation like this transpires. If the man who was at the front reads this review, don’t delete it. Learn how to have the decent respect to not talk over others when they are telling you information that you’re unaware about. What happened was discrimination against an individual who has a disability. I don’t typically write reviews, but I wanted to advocate for those who either have service dogs or care about the energy of who provides your meal. Be mindful of the reaction you may get if you advocate for something that does not fit their...
Read moreMe and my friend visited this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night. We ordered the #1 bowl with all the meats, requesting no onions or cilantro. The server was friendly and attentive.
However, when the food arrived, we immediately noticed a very strong fishy odor. The broth was yellow, and the meat had a greyish hue, which raised concerns about freshness. Given the unusual smell and appearance, we were hesitant to try it.
We politely voiced our concerns to the server, who then brought over the manager. Instead of addressing the issue, the manager launched into a long speech about how they’ve never received a complaint in 20 years and insisted the food must be fresh because they were "too busy" for it not to be—despite the fact that we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time (photo attached). She ended abruptly with, "No returns or exchanges."
Ultimately, we decided not to eat the food, paid our bill (including a tip for the kind server), and left. While the portion size was generous, the overpowering fishy smell, unappetizing appearance, and dismissive attitude from management left a negative first impression.
If you’re a regular and enjoy this place, perhaps our experience was not typical. But if food freshness and customer service matter to you, I’d recommend you...
Read moreOur family has been coming to Pho Vietnam since 2009, and it has been, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve had together. This place has truly become a part of our family tradition. The food is consistently amazing, with authentic flavors and generous portions that make every visit enjoyable. My kids love it here, and the family-oriented atmosphere really makes us feel at home. The customer service is also outstanding; the staff treats us like family every time we come. One detail I particularly appreciate is the Spanish-speaking staff. It’s thoughtful touches like these that show how much they care about their customers. If you’re looking for a place with excellent pho and a welcoming environment, Pho Vietnam is the one we recommend. For us, it’s the only place to go when we...
