Last week I had a hair appt next door and I was starving mid appt and decided to order food for once I was done. Their last appt time to pick up food was 9:15 so I went for 8:45 so they could hopefully get off work before their 9pm close. Then I got a notification saying they needed to move my pickup time to 9:15, I thought well I’ll just go over and wait since I was literally next door. Then when I got there it looked completely closed so I called and said I was there for my order and they said they’ll be back as they had to go to the store. Turns out they went to the store to pick up ingredients specifically for my order, which I believe was the last of the night. I felt so bad I wished I had just ordered food somewhere else instead of making them go get more ingredients for one order!!! Once they were back it was less than 5 minutes until my food was ready, a very very nice lady came and brought it out to me and apologized for the wait, but really I was the one who should be sorry! All of that to say I really appreciated them going out of their way to make my order last minute AND how nice they were about it. The food was AMAZING and HOT and I’m still thinking about it a week later! Everyone make sure you’re leaving nice big tips for this small, family-owned restaurant as they...
Read moreWas really hoping to like this, but our first visit was also out last. We visited around 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday and there was one large table with about six people and other than that the place was empty. There was a young man seating people and giving menus and water and one waitress. We ordered non-veg platter which was very small considering it was $13. The chicken included on the appetizer was so dry. It seemed like it was cooked days ago and that should have been a warning to us. We ordered the tandoori mixed grill and the lamb Rogan Josh , mixed bread basket and unfortunately onions and green chilies are also an upcharge so we added that to the bill. The tandoori mix grill was severely overcooked and flavorless-- outrageous for $24 The lamb Rogan Josh was very spicy as we had ordered it spicy so that was good. However, there were three chunks of lamb and it was mostly gravy.. I think this restaurant might be good to people that don't normally eat Indian food or don't know what it's supposed to taste like. But it was our first and last visit. A bill for two people was $85 and we were thoroughly...
Read moreWe had our first experience here last night. I LOVED the decor. They have very interesting pieces of furniture, lanterns, and art. Family friendly 100%. The service was prompt and pleasant. Now, the food: that’s’ what really matters, right? What we had was SPECTACULAR! I had the Shrimp Tikka Masala and my husband had the Lamb Tikka Masala. The rice was perfectly cooked: fluffy, not sticky. The sauce was creamy and lucious. I can handle a bit of heat, but always err on the side of caution. I ordered mild to medium, and could have gone full force with the medium heat. I read a few reviews complaining about portion size, but I brought home half of my meal and my husband finished his, but was full. We added an order of plain Naan, and the charred flavor was mouth watering. All in all, it was a great experience and we’ll...
