Continental Cuisine — Restaurant in Fairlawn

What can I say, in a world of bland ideas served with bland food, Continental Cuisine comes to the rescue, ( lassie reference ) what's that girl ? You say theres a place in town that serves actual food that tastes like, like actual food ? Whether it's the pizza, or the PITA, or the Kafta Kaboobs, you cannot physically hide the excitement that over comes you when they bring the food that , up until that moment, was a picture on a menu you pointed too, then when you get it and its....embarrassing. My wife wont let me dine in anymore there, she actually hides in the bathroom while I get the mmmm'sss and ohhhhh's out of my system BECAUSE THEYRE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!! F.Y.I. she left me over that, she said something about " you dont look at me the way you look at the Kefta " and she was insecure about my relationship with the rice that comes with it , the passion and the excitement of making a triangular shaped wrap filled with Kefta rice and the tomatoes....brings a song to mind ! " ....that's me in the corner ! Thats me in the spot light losing my religion....TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH YOU ....and I dont know of I can do it ..OH NOoOoo I've SAID TOO MUCH , ....I havent said enough !!!!! And the BAKLAVA! dont get...

Warning do not go if allergic to soy The hidden gem of fairlawn! Always great food, love the chicken shwarma, tabooli, hummus, and grape leaves! All home made! Service is great. I have never had a bad meal here.

Update, meal still great, service could use a little work.

Update 05/12/2023 So google asked me to update my review and I am struggling with this. Not a great experience today. My wife got schwarma it was amazing as per usual. The issue that arose comes from a conversation with the waitress about a food allergy I have developed. After telling the waitress my soy allergy she brings my appetizer out and says oh hey this is fried in soy oil..so I send it back they still charged me for it.... something else I ate had soy in it too and I got fish and steamed vege....not sure but I have been dealing with the fallout from soy contact. They can make some good food, but the service has been getting steadily worse. It's a shame too, no matter how good the food is, bad service, excess greed will kill your business.

I’m from out of state, but my MIL is a local, and Lebanese, so she suggested here when we were catching up with some family. I’m not sure how this restaurant’s food compares to other places with a similar menu, but I was very pleased!! We had an appetizer of hummus which was good, though I do wish they had more a few flavors to choose from because they would be phenomenal. I had the chicken kabobs with rice, tomatoes, pepper and pickles, and it was amazing! The chicken chunks were grilled perfectly leaving them moist, and had that wonderful grilled taste. As did the tomatoes! I actually really wished I had ordered an additional side of the grilled tomatoes because they were that good! The rice was good, the homemade yogurt dip was so so so delicious.. I actually am going to request we come back here next time we’re up visiting! Service was good, bathroom was spotless....
