We checked out a new-ish shop in the area after it was suggested by someone I know. Theyâve been open for about 8 months now (as of this review).
Was looking forward to trying a Japanese cheesecake, but unfortunately they ran out đ„Č
But the menu is pretty simple. Has your usual coffee and tea offerings.
Their cappuccinos/flat whites are 8 ounces instead of the traditional 6 ounces, so if youâre looking for something less milky, a cortado is always a good go to.
As far as equipment goes: They have a nice La Marzocco Linea PB machine (that looks to be serviced by @invokecoffeetech ) A Mahlkönig GBW grinder dialed in to pull 21g triple shots. Mahlkönig Guatemala grinder paired with a FETCO for their batch brew. And what looks to be a Turin DF64 for the single origin espresso and Aeropress grinds.
What we got was a Golden Latte, Cortado, and a single origin Ethiopia espresso. The nice little cookies on the side of each drink were an amazing touch! â€ïž Also got a 1:12.5 ratio Aeropress of the Ethiopia Guji coffee (not pictured)
Theyâre using a small batch Akron local roaster, MOMI coffee roasters, for their beans. Really liked the packaging of the coffee, and will definitely have to see what all offerings they have.
The overall space is really nice and relaxing, and love that they have a lot of plants and a cozy little church corner. The wall art behind the espresso machine was a really nice touch that I enjoyed looking at.
Will definitely have to come back again at some point and hopefully catch that cheesecake that lured me in...

The customer service was outstanding; the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. Their dedication was evident in every aspect of my visit.
Now, letâs talk about the highlight: the lavender latte. It was, without a doubt, one of the best Iâve ever had. The balance of flavors was impeccableâthe subtle floral notes of lavender perfectly complemented the rich, smooth coffee. Each sip was a comforting blend of warmth and sophistication, showcasing top-notch quality and attention to detail.
If youâre looking for a spot that delivers exceptional customer service, inviting vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and high-quality drinks, this cafĂ© is a must-visit. I canât wait to return and indulge in another...
Read moreGot a lot of studying done!! Right when you walk in, the ambiance of Ardmore is laid back and comforting. I was greeted by Michael whom had a very welcoming, casual; yet personable energy. Despite it being my first time here, it felt like I was sitting in the living room of a longtime friend that welcomed me in for a cup of coffee. The pastries were yummy. If youâre one of those people that adore sweets, but feel like sometimes they can be just a bit too much: just try the Japanese Cheesecake. Generous piece and perfect amount of sweetness. They also have banana/ zucchini bread here too. I mean come onnnn, who doesnât like banana bread???? Drinks? Cannot complain. Black coffee. Yum. Michael was great. Iâve never been to a coffee shop where the hospitality was so centralized, yet not overwhelming whatsoever. In addition to this overall energy, loved the chic decor. Music was at a good volume. Productive and chill atmosphere. Definitely becoming a part of my study/...
