The College Lunch Box — Restaurant in Fairmont

College Lunch, held an Open Mic Night on Fri. 4-19-24. The music started at 8p. I arrived early to check out the place. It is on the small side as you enter the bar area. You walk past the bar and enter another room which houses a pool table. The table takes up a lot of space, but players still have room to make their shots, despite the traffic going outside to the deck as you have to go through the pool room in order to get to the deck. The deck was awesome!! It has a roof over the entire thing, Plenty of room to hang out using the built in benches. There was one picnic table, could use more!! I ordered a steak hoagie and seasoned steak fries with a side of mayo!! If you've never tried fries with mayo, you don't know what your missing!! I spent less then $20 for the food and a couple beers which is most affordable for how good...

rude service, only cater to their friends who are under age and then when complained staff and staff members friends were dancing on tables that customers were sitting at, throwing drinks on customers, and cussing customers off while sitting at the table, I was accused of being "drunk" after one beer because they didn't want to take responsibility of their lack of service and professionalism. No matter the circumstances it is never okay for staff to mistreat a customer and they acted like it was okay for all these wrong doings because their "friend" thought and told them to act this way. My friends and I will never be back and I don't recommend it to anyone else because it seems that they only cared to serve to underage college...

First time here...Ok as far as bar food goes,the bartender/cook/server wasn't very outgoing. We ordered cheddar cheese poppers (asked him if they were indeed cheddar beforehand,were told yes) and got cream cheese poppers.. he didn't seem concerned that we didn't want them. Also, we noticed after the fact that the canned soft drinks/ Brisk tea are $1 and we ordered teas, and got bottled teas that were $3 each. For what we spent for 2,we could have went to a restaurant with table service. The fresh cut fries were good and the cheeseburger was good but the bacon was overcooked.
