Amaral's Bakery Inc. — Restaurant in Fall River

I hate writing a bad review but here I am. I've ordered from this company a time or two in the past and have never had issues. The bread comes in a box with Packing peanuts ( Or packing ) so my bread has never been damaged. This time I received a box with no packing. Half of the bread in the box was smashed. I originally emailed the orders email address as soon as I opened my box. I then saw that I was missing 2 items. I sent another email maybe 10 minutes later. The next day, UPS delivered a box that had 1 of the two missing items in it. Still no response via email and I've yet to get my missing loaf and it's been . I emailed them again and again, Nothing. I then called the Store phone number, Left a voice mail expressing my issues and included my name and phone number. Nothing. It has been almost 2 full weeks since my first email. Please, Do better. Ordered chourico, chourico patties and chow mein through website. Received box 2 weeks later, food was defrosted and hot with 2 melted ice bags. Called the business to ask why they would ship perishable items from Massachusetts to North Carolina with plain ice during the summer. The person I spoke with said to call back and speak with Jessica, the owner. Called over 12 times during the following week and sent a courteous email. They did not answer the phone nor did they even take the time to respond to email. Very poor customer service. I would NOT recommend doing business with Amaral’s bakery. We absolutely love Amaral’s Bolos and were pleased to find out they ship after leaving Rhode Island.

Unfortunately, my 3 star review comes from disappointment after trying to contact the bakery on multiple occasions, via phone and Instagram, and receiving our order with poor packaging.
