Two words to describe this place: LOW QUALITY and UNPROFESSIONAL.
The reason why businesses are increasing their prices is so that they can keep up with expenses. However, Europa keeps increasing their prices and reducing the quality of the service. They're being cheap.
Winter is super cold. They used to have hot water in the restroom. Not anymore, probably to cut expenses.
Sometimes, during those hot summer days, the place feels like a sauna. I've seen customers literally sweating in their faces because the air conditioning was off. When I asked why it was off, the owners didn't give an answer.
Whenever I order a sandwich, the employees ask "do you want it toasted?" so that we don't notice that we're eating old bread from previous days. I've tried not toasted and it's disgusting.
The coffee is the worst in the city, probably a cheap brand.
When I ask for the biggest pastry that there is on display, they mutter as if there's something wrong with that. But I'm paying for it. Just give me the freakin pastry!
They add too much salt to my french fries and I told them MANY times that I want the salt on the side so I can add it myself, but they keep ignoring and just bringing my fries deeply covered in salt. They do this on purpose, that's how childish these people are.
The last Bifana (pork steak sandwich) that they served me was EXTREMELY salty and spicy. I just had a bite because it wasn't edible. If I were to bring it to my dog, he wouldn't eat it. Probably would die! They didn't give me a refund and were upset that I didn't like it. They even denied that it was salty. They want to be right and the customer is always wrong. They don't like customers questioning things and are rude if you do. - UNPROFESSIONAL
I was told that kevin is the one preparing the food and causing this mess. He's a terrible cook.
This place is run by a group of emotional people who decided to open a business, don't know what they're doing and have no experience nor qualifications both in the kitchen and in business ethics.
I know A LOT of customers who don't frequent this place anymore for the same reasons that I...
Read moreI stopped in with my wife one Sunday afternoon. The place was busy. Many folks sitting and chatting and having coffee and goodies. The case was half empty, but that was to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. Everything looked very clean. The staff was hard at work, but everyone was nice and friendly, especially the young man who took our order. I ordered a double espresso and my wife and I ordered a couple of pistachio cannoli to take away which looked very delicious in the case. It was here that the experience took a bizarre turn. The cannoli were filled with buttercream frosting! Not the worst thing I’ve ever bitten into, but it was a total shock. I’ve been on this earth a good long time, and I’ve eaten countless cannolis, but nothing could have prepared us for that!
I’m sorry Europa, but this I cannot overlook. Three stars because of all the other reasons including the espresso being...
Read moreThis use to be the BEST bakery in Fallriver. I now live out of the state so when I visit this is one of my stops. Well when i first walked in I noticed it got remodeled and looked nice and saw the same girl from before. She informed me that there are new owners and i asked did the recipes stay the same. She said for the pastries. I ordered a dozen of pastels de natas. Well when we ate the natas (a few hrs later) the recipe DID change. They have too much crust, less filling, the taste is different and OLD. I did NOT expect this. I expected the same fresh tasty nata like before. To the new owners if you want your business to succeed do NOT sell old pastels/food and use the original recipe. I dont think I will stop by again. Yes that is how...
