Stepping into this charming old school deli was like a journey back in time – a journey that my taste buds were absolutely thrilled to embark upon! The moment I laid eyes on their selection of homemade bread, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The aroma alone was enough to transport me to a culinary wonderland.
And then there were the subs. Oh boy, these were not your average subs – they were colossal creations that could satisfy even the heartiest appetite. Stacked high with a delightful medley of meats, cheeses, and fresh veggies, each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me grinning with joy.
What set this deli apart, besides the incredible food, were the prices. In an age where eating out often comes with a hefty price tag, this deli managed to offer substantial portions of deliciousness without putting a dent in my wallet. It's like they've preserved the tradition of hearty, satisfying meals at a cost that feels like a genuine gift.
The warm, inviting ambiance and attentive staff made the experience all the more enjoyable. It's the kind of place where you can savor every bite, relax, and take a moment to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of modern times, finding a deli that pays homage to quality, flavor, and value is truly a treasure. If you're a fan of homemade bread, oversized subs, and affordability, this deli deserves a top spot on your must-visit list. It's a testament to the beauty of old school delis and the joy they bring...
Read moreWorst Italian sub I have ever had. I asked for extra pickles, when she rang up my order she added two bucks, I asked what is that for? She said for the pickles. I looked up and on the menu it said 1 buck for pickles, I asked well why 2? She said you wanted extra. So I paid it and left. There was barely enough pickles for the sub, you know how big the large is, I would say enough pickles for most of the sub was in the bag. Not enough for the whole sub and certainly not extra. It is two bucks for extra meat so how are pickles the same?! So okay that is a rip off but I figured the sub would still be good from my memory of them in the old days. I went to tailgate and we opened our subs. It was bread and meat, nothing else on it. They want you to pay for everything they put on it like the lettuce the tomatoes onion etc. The worst part is they did not put any vinegar and oil or Italian dressing just bread and meat. They should at least tell you we put NOTHING on a sub. How can you say you make grinders when you slap meat on bread without anything else. Maybe I am out of touch but I have ordered Italian subs all my life and the all came with some veg and dressing. The picture on the website has a picture of what I think and Italian sub is. If you add that stuff to the sub these subs are not a good value. I will not be back, I used to love this place, never again. Also it was not very busy and it took 20 minutes just to order, we were 3rd in line. Curious if you get a salad do you have to pay for...
Read morePhone always off hook. When I got through the phone hung up on me. Called again and was told to hold, was on hold 10 minutes. Went to place to order, waited 5 minutes before anyone said anything to me, like at least say, I will be with you in a moment. No acknowledgement at all that I was there. Finally, took my order and I had to leave to get cash because credit card machine was down. I got back to place to pick up sandwiches which still were not done, 40 mins total. Only thing that made me give 2 stars was the young gentlemen who appologized for the long wait and put a treat in bag with my order. Thank you. Lastly, the cacoila sandwich was delicious. As for, the tuna salad and chicken salad sandwich which I had to throw away, were really bad. Not sure if chicken salad was sitting out too long but got...
