New Golden Star — Restaurant in Fall River

This food was disgusting. It was so bad and DRY I asked them for a refund and I wouldn’t eat it and they told me no to call my card and report it because they weren’t going to refund my money for that nasty food. The customer service was horrible the “manager” yelled at me and got mad at me because the food was disgusting and I wouldn’t eat it these ppl are horrible I would recommend not eating here. The ONLY reason I chose to get food here is because I got confused with the Golden River which is way better than this place ! I’ve never been so disgusted in my life ! Oh and how can I forget I saw a man drop raw chicken on the floor and look up and look around almost putting it on the stove his hand was over the stove ready to drop until he seen me staring at him and he went to go find the trash! Ive ordered here before and it was decent food for the price you pay. And I convinced my wife to give them a try since almost all the other Chinese spots in fall river are closed on Tuesdays.

The food tasted NOTHING like it did last time I ordered it. It was incredibly bland. The rice both fried and white was soggy. The lo mein we ordered for the kids was so bad they refused to eat it. Nothing had any flavour besides saltiness.

Tried to call and complain about it. They said that they've had the same recipe for over 20 years. Which, if true I dont know how they're still open. I asked if I could get refunded for the purchase and he laughed and said that they dont do refunds.

I always give second chances for a bad experience, but im never getting food...

Ok so my normal Chinese place was busy so I googled a few places and saw this was place was rated good. Well let me tell you my crab rangoons were watery and had that thick doughy batter. The terayaki beef was ok at best. The chow mein sandwich was really watery and mushy. The only good thing was the pork fried rice but I don't think you can really mess that up. If you want the best terayaki beef it's happy garden hands down the best in the city by far. Never eating here again only sticking with the few I know are good happy garden, golden River and dim sum.
