I'm going to be completely honest with you right now. Stay far from this bakery is not what it claims to be when you walk in you might think there bread are fresh and out of the over, that's is lie, there breads are definitely NOT fresh. Not to include how the employees act like there being force to work there and never contribute to the services or how they act. We had gotten some breads from here one day ago and were about to eat them until we noticed the bread had MOLD on it, We obviously decided to go to bakery and tell them about this and request our money back because who would want a bread with MOLD on it. When we get there the employees are stupid and aso rude as may sound it just the truth, they where denying that we bought yesterday and the bread was probably days old, how dumb you gotta be THEY HAD THE RECEIPT right in front there faces when we bought it, how much was it and more information. That wasn't even the WORST part the manager was way worse he didn't belive us nor they want to give us back our money for the rest of our breads, he was ignorant to us and nobody there apologized for what happened and the fact is this bakery is not cheap, it is a fraud, please do not waste your money one this and consider this and the other review a warning to save your self and you money, don't fall for traps like this, please if your trying treat your kid or yourself spend somewhere else because this place is so not worth, cakes probably can give...

Terrible customer service and clear prejudice against non-Spanish speakers.
I waited in line behind 4 Spanish speaking customers that were served in front of me. They did not take numbered tickets so neither did I. But when it came time to serve me, a Spanish speaking man interrupted me while I was giving my order. I could not understand the rapid Spanish phrases he used with the cashier, but after she told me I had to go to the back of the line, now about 6 people long, presumably to take a numbered ticket, even though none of the 3 Spanish speaking customers in front of me had taken a ticket. After I explained that I was confused and had been waiting in line like everyone else, the only response was. Go to the back of the line.
I'm certain if I would have been able to converse in Spanish beyond the very limited ability I have to recognize some often used words, I would have received better customer service.
It's clearly Castro's Bakery's prerogative to offer better service to fluent Spanish speakers, but because of this clear bias in service I will never come back to his store and I would strongly recommend other non-Spanish speaking customers...
Read moreHonestly I don’t even know where to start. All im going to say is save your money and go somewhere else. The customer service is not great, they clearly don’t know how to assist people. I ordered a cake for my son. It was a basic cake and I sent them a reference picture of what I wanted, I told them to change the frosting color to lilac which then they proceeded to put dark purple, after that they told me they don’t work with fondant which is ok. The design I wanted could be done with frosting or anything else, they never once said oh we can’t do that design or it’s to complicated or I would’ve looked for somewhere else. The day of the pickup I send my husband to pick it up and as soon as he gets home I look at it and I’m in complete shock, I paid almost $170 for this cake for it to look like this , even my son could’ve done a better job of decorating. I even felt the need to take off the printed squares to make it less ugly. I mean just Look at these pictures, I will post what I asked for and what I got. You be the judge and tell me if that looks the same to you and if your willing to get...
