Out of 10 of us, the restaurant got 2 of our dishes wrong. One was for a child in our group. After we told them they gave us the wrong dish, they remade it and it ended up being the last dish out. This child had to wait until we were all over halfway through our meals before her food came out. And my own dish was incorrect too. It came out the first time and they told us what it was. We told them no one ordered that, so they took it back. Then our server came back with the same dish and gave it to me. I asked if it was the eggplant dish with chicken. He said yes. But there was no eggplant in it. Not a single piece. And the meat seemed to be a mix of chicken and something dark - either beef or pork. I know for sure that it was not the eggplant dish I ordered because the receipt said it was yu-shiang shredded pork. So, they gave me the wrong dish and lied to me when I asked if it was the eggplant dish. Nice, very nice. The sesame chicken (and sesame beef) were also clearly not sesame. They were orange chicken/beef. Nothing sesame about it, not even seeds. And the service was just terrible. No one ever came by to ask how we were or anything at all. The server came once to take our drink and food order at the same time (which they did quite late - we waited for about 15 minutes for them to come greet us and take our orders). Then the food came out. Then we were ignored for the rest of our stay. We had to flag down a waiter multiple times - to inquire if the child’s food was even being remade or not (no one had told us anything about it), and to ask for dessert and to-go boxes. It seems like the servers don’t want to be there. They don’t acknowledge customers or make it easy for us to make eye contact with them to signal that we need them. Is the owner making their family members work there or what? Please try to hire some staff that actually wants to work. Also, pay close attention to your receipt. Ours had both of the child’s dishes still on it - the one the restaurant messed up and the new one. I informed them of it and they removed it quickly. One last note: we were told that we would have a private room. But upon arriving, they informed us that the private rooms had a minimum spending requirement of $300. I had no idea how much we were going to spend, so we opted out of it. But why promise us a room and then inform us of that stipulation the day of? The rest of the food was fine, but the mistakes really put a sour taste in our mouths. We will not be...
Read moreI was super excited to share with my hubby about this restaurant once I saw it on Instagram and would like to try it so badly. We had lunch today and we were not happy after all. Atmosphere: Of course, I was impressed with the restaurant by their interior design and decoration. Simple but elegant. Service: However, the service seems like does not match with what it appears as a dining restaurant. After given the menu and 2 glasses of water, none of the staffs came to ask us what we would like to order for like 15 minutes even though we were sitting at the table near the window. We could not reach anyone until a guy was just finishing checking the other table nearby, so we waved him to ask if we could order now. After receiving our food, none of the staffs came to ask us whether the everything is okay or not which we were quite disappointed. It was hard for us to call the staffs for anything, even for check, my hubby had to walk out to look for the staffs. Food: We ordered 3 dishes: Pan fried dumpling, crab fried rice and sweet and sour pork ribs. Pan fried dumplings are good, crunchy outside and juicy inside. Crab fried rice is not so wow, okay even the rice is overcooked. Sweet and sour pork ribs is the most upsetting dish for us. The pork ribs were served in a bowl which seems like not the same with the dishes appeared on Google photos and tasted like braised pork ribs with soy sauce. We have been to many Chinese restaurants and we know how sweet and sour pork ribs should be. Overall, we paid $70 ( tax and tip included) for the meal we were not satisfied with but still had to tip 20% as there is no lower option. Hopefully everything will be improved, we might come back sometimes but not in...

I had the chance of attending the soft opening of RH Bistro, and my first impression was very positive. The ambiance is warm and stylish, exuding a welcoming yet sophisticated vibe. The dining areas are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable seating and elegant tableware. A central bar area—though not yet operational—hints at future potential for lively gatherings.
Despite being a soft opening, the restaurant was surprisingly packed, a testament to the buzz surrounding this new spot. Service, as expected during this phase, had some delays, and the waitstaff were still familiarizing themselves with the menu. That said, they were exceptionally friendly and eager to accommodate.
Now, onto the food. We ordered the following dishes: Pork Soup Dumplings Spicy Beef and Tripe Slices Tibetan Cumin Lamb Kung Pao Cashew Shrimp Tilapia Fillet with Pickled Vegetables Soup Mushroom Fried Rice with Truffle
Overall, I’d rate the food a 9/10—great for a soft opening, with room to refine a few details. Must-try dishes include the Spicy Beef and Tripe Slices, Soup Dumplings, and the Truffle Mushroom Fried Rice. The menu offers many intriguing options, and I’m already looking forward to returning to explore more.
RH Bistro shows great promise—excellent food, a chic atmosphere, and attentive (if still learning) service. If this is just the beginning, I can’t wait to see how...
