I am extremely disappointed with my recent order from Saffron Indian Cuisine. I ordered Am Palak Chaat, Paneer Makhani, and Garlic Naan. While we were eating, my brother, who is a vegetarian, found pieces of chicken in the Paneer Makhani. This is completely unacceptable, especially since we specifically ordered a vegetarian dish.
I’ve attached pictures with this review to show the clear difference between the paneer and the chicken pieces found in our food. This kind of carelessness is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for dietary preferences and restrictions. We used to order from this restaurant a lot, but after this experience, we will never order from here again.
UPDATE:
The restaurant owner responded to my feedback, apologizing for the experience my family and I had due to their food. However, I noticed that another customer had a similar experience eight months ago (see attached screenshot) when they found a piece of meat in their food. This suggests that no action has been taken since then, and the restaurant has continued to allow contamination in their...
Read moreWent here for the first time and was pretty impressed. The tandoori chicken and biryani were both some of the best I’ve ever tasted! The environment was nice and the design was fitting of the quality of food, though the lack of windows felt a bit claustrophobic. Everyone there was very nice and helpful! The only real negative was that it took nearly an hour for the food to arrive. They weren’t especially busy, but it was pretty early (around 4:30) so that could be why. Still, I wish they would have at least brought out bread as we waited, since my whole party was very hungry. Don’t take that as a reason not to come here, though. The food was well worth the wait! The bread assortment was fresh, well portioned and tasted amazing. The mango lassi was probably the best I’ve had… definitely the best in the area. I’ll definitely be returning and if you’re craving authentic Indian food, you should...

A sharp left from the small foyer has you squeezing between the register and the buffet to reach the small but comfortable dining room. Grab a plate and brace yourself, their small buffet offers a surprising variety of entrees absolutely exploding with flavor. You'll find the usual suspects and more but not like you're used to; entrees are layered with flavors, spice, heat, smoke and sweetness. You won't find the usual array of rarely-eaten sides and desserts just hearty meat and vegetable entrees. The chicken curry is otherworldly, the goat tender, the butter chicken and palak paneer have a smoky depth and complexity that elevates them from from the everyday. A fresh basket of naan accompanies your meal. $22 for the buffet but...
