Overall would say a 6.5/10 on their fish tacos. The coconut shrimp one was delishhhh. I’ve had other tacos here too and most of them are really good! #foodreview #fishtacos #yummy

We stumbled upon Taco Rock one day while shopping and went for lunch. About 5 hours later we went back for dinner! If that doesn't tell you how great this place is, I don't know what will. The atmosphere is great! Everything from '80s videos to today's, fun to watch along with several TVs. Usually with sports. The music's not too loud that you can't have a conversation. The menu is actually quite expansive, more than just tacos.. They have everything from basic tacos to more complex and fusion type tacos along with tortas, quesadillas, and even a taco salad bowl. And The joy of this place is you can eat a few tacos and a soda for less than 10 bucks. You can also go way beyond that with one of their appetizers like nachos, taco pizza, empanadas and more. The tortas and sandwiches are quite good but run a little expensive. I've yet to try the fajitas but see them often and people seem to enjoy them. Other than that, I think we've had everything on the menu! I'm at the Falls Church location weekly, and you actually start to see a lot of the same crowd there. It's not unusual to see families there with the parents on the bar side and the kids on the restaurant side. As far as the bar, it seems quite busy, but I've yet to really connect with a bartender there. Some are friendlier than others. The rest of the staff, however, are absolutely amazing. Everyone from the cooking crew who smiles and laughs but is 100% professional to the friendly and fast expediters to Mario, the master of Quality Control ensuring your leal is not only accurate but beautiful to look at, he is rhe glue that keeps the whole place together. You can't go wrong with Taco Rock!

Decided to checkout this new taco place which I heard was similar to Taco bamba. Ordered Flamin crusted Poppers-3.5/5-Too cheesy which made it soggy and not crispy enough. 4 types of Tacos- Fried Avocado-2.5/5-Didn't have much flavour just tasted like chips with guacamole. General Tso Cauliflower-5/5-Loved it,has a sweet and sour taste. Will definitely order it again. My husband had the meat tacos and said,Colonel sanders-5/5,Shake down shrimp-4/5. Their sauces are good and the habanero one kicks a punch for all spice lovers. My complaints are that the size of the tacos are a bit small for the price. Probably having two tortillas or increasing the size would help. We need to place the orders on a tablet/screen and when the orders are served there is no differentiation in the vegetarian and meat tacos, at least a green paper on the tray for the vegetarian dishes would help differentiate. Might check them out again to try other dishes or if they add new vegetarian dishes.

We love going there and the food has always been good and the margaritas are in my opinion also great even though I’m not a fan of margaritas. Especially the price during Happy Hour is great. However there has not been one single time where we didn’t get charged too much. Either they add to many drinks on your tap or you’ll find other things on your receipt. ALWAYS ask for the itemized receipt. They only hand it out to us AFTER we pay. We went there a couple of days ago and again, they added to many beers and margaritas to our tap. We paid $25 extra and they said they’d refund us the money but so far nothing happened yet. The waitress says every time you add something to your tap it adds on what you originally ordered which is kind of weird. We really enjoy coming but this has also happened to all of our friends since we made them aware of it. A friend actually told me to check my receipt there every time because they charge you wrong… and she was right… I really start to question if this is a tactic. Edit: today, January 10 the right amount was charged (amount was...

Went to the new Taco Rock today. Such a cool place and the food was EXCELLENT. Seriously some of the best tacos we’ve ever had- especially the Birria ones! Margaritas were also super fresh and delicious. We got there around 6:45pm on a Friday night and the place was packed- everything felt a little hectic , but I guess that’s to be expected as it’s a new restaurant. The card readers on the tablets where you order weren’t working properly and the staff was crazy swamped and couldn’t help… we also ordered chips & guac which never came and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone to tell them since it was so crazy busy. Long story short, we still ultimately had a great experience but we’d probably try to head in earlier on a Friday or sometime during the week instead of in the heart of a rush. (As someone who worked in the restaurant industry for a long time, I totally get it!)

Super excited to have a new go-to Taco spot in Falls Church! Once things calm down a little, I’m sure I’d be able to rate...
