Look I understand when you make minimum wage and yes the shift mangers tend not to make much more then that, it can be hard to enjoy your job. However there is still a little thing called common decency (which I feel like even the hours we are not getting paid we should still show to one another) which management here seem to lack big time. I use to work at McD's back in MA so I know there is a global policy of HBO (hand bag out) I never liked that policy because having the bag out the window before the customer can pull up sends the message of "grab your food and get out!" not a very friendly message. So the policy is bad enough but when you have MANAGERS not only doing that but swinging the bag back and forth like you're Indiana Jones trying to dodge a booby trap then you are showing that the store as a whole does not care at all about its customers only about making drive thru times. This has happen to my mother now twice first time the manger gave her a very sarcastic apology the next time (bag handed to her by a crew person) she could clearly hear the manger yell "She's back again!?!".. hmm trying to discourage some one from spending money at your store what a great way to run a business. I also had an issue a few months ago with the custodian who tossed out my son's lunch in the play room. I tried to get her to stop and after it went in the trash is when she finally noticed I was talking to her. I got no apology only a "oh well there was no one setting here" that may be true but there was a stroller and my bag at the table. My son was only 16 months at the time so if he wanted to play in there I had to keep a closer eye then just setting at my seat. I am giving them three stars instead of two because despite a very rude management and unapologetic janitor when my son and I do come in we always have very pleasant crew people some have even took the extra effort to help bring our...
Read moreWe were visiting from out of town, my family and I were very exhausted and hungry from a long day of traveling. We were running out of restaurant options , our first choice is Taco Bell since they are quick and cheap, however, there was a long line and no walk in . The line at McDonald's was much more short. It was drive through only, bad combination since I really wanted to take my time to order and since McDonald's has changed its menu so much and I was not familiar with the changes . First off, my go to value menu is gone, I notice that their prices are sky high! If it was more early I would of preferred to go to five guys or chilis since the prices there are about the same! The associate that was taking our order was speaking too fast (again I was very tired from traveling all day) , then she got rude! We ended up canceling our order and going to Taco Bell. I contacted the manager, he was really invalidating and did not care, a good manager would of invited us back and maybe given us a free burger for our troubles to maintain customer loyalty. I threatened to call corporate, however, I decided to give grace and not do so. I see this as a problem with McDonald's corporation as a whole. They a alienating their main customer base, most people go to McDonald's for quick and cheap. Their food has never been the most high quality, however, low prices was their redeemer, with high prices, they are going to push people to either higher end resturants like JL Beers or Five Guys. For quick and cheap, Burger King , Wendy's, and Taco Bell are taking the lead. Bk and Wendy's have a superior product and they continue to offer a value menu. In addition, their employees and managers need to be trained better, and have a "customer first" mentality. Remember, customers are the reason why you are...
Read moreHaving worked in fast food quite a bit in my younger life, I typically am not too critical of any such establishment, but I cannot rave enough about the positive experience my team and I had at this location! We were an out of state guard unit utilizing the regional training site at the local Air Wing in early August, when our flight plans changed and we found ourselves with no meal options, and 39 hungry bellies that were going to potentially miss 2 meal periods. Luckily, with as much preplanning as we were afforded time for, we were able to arrange at least a hearty breakfast from this very location. As anyone who has ever worked fast knows, when someone comes in with a list, it can be straight out of a Wes Craven nightmare novel. Much less when someone calls in to place a several hundred dollar order in advance. Nonetheless, upon arrival at the establishment, the entirety of our order was completed, even marked in their respective bags, the staff was incredibly friendly (A pretty herculean feat for like 6 in the morning after making almost an hours worth of food), and there appeared to be no interruption to normal restaurant operations (They were still serving other customers without delay). Logistically speaking, it was a masterwork performance, and I cannot commend and compliment that crew enough for their hard work and...
