We went here for lunch with the entire family. Upon arriving we asked about portion sizes of the chicken tenders and were reassured they were good size. So we ordered our food and beverages accordingly.
The club was a decent size sandwich, but the chicken tenders came out and they were tiny. The waitress described them as the same meat they use for their wings, but breaded. This was not the way she originally described them.
The waitress did talk to management and they brought out 3 more "tenders" to make up for the tiny size, but it still didn't equal what she mentioned when we were ordering.
Another family member ordered the Alfredo and she said it was gross. Her exact words were, "the high school alfredo is better" which is a new low for alfredo I guess.
Staffing issues caused some chaos with getting drink refills and the bill taken care of.
I am guessing the staffing issues are also why it took almost 2 hours to get food... I guess someone just decided to leave for lunch and leave a single person there to handle the restaurant...
From one parent to another, this is not the place you want to take kids. The kids meals were on the high side for price and very low side for quality. If you are going with adults and you are focused on drinks and not the food, it may be better.
I would have rated one star, but the waitress did attempt to fix the issues and the staffing issue was out of her control. So because she did what she could to make it right I...
Read moreStopped over here yesterday with my mom, her 2 dogs, and my giant puppy. After a few hours at the dog park we wanted a snack and the dogs were hungry. We each got a cheese quesadilla which was simple but delicious. I'm a vegetarian and she is not so while I definitely had limited options here, i was happy with my order. The pup menu was the real reason we came here though! All 3 had a burger patty, bacon, and ice cream. They had bowls of ice water as well. They were happy boys! The server was sweet to them and understanding of the one who is struggling with socialization. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place your dog can be spoiled!
There's only 2 things I'd change/be prepared for next time: While the patio could use a smidge more shade for dogs, we had it to ourselves and all 3 were able to find adequate shade. But they did intrude on the space of the other tables so that may be an issue if we weren't alone. However my puppy is around 75-80lbs and her dogs are 95lbs and 115lbs so smaller dogs are fine I'm sure. The tables aren't solid so sun pours through them so they don't create shade. The second thing is the dog bowls slide all over as they try to eat so a rubber mat would be nice. We may just keep one in the car as this was an issue at a few places. We just don't want them chasing their food under someone else's table :). Both are things we can prepare for next time. Cuz there will definitely be a next time. Thank you for being so...
Read moreI really wanted to give 5 stars but the two gals with the dark brown hair were super slow. Pepper's is always in my mind to eat at and I've always suggested ppl to go there. Today I went and Jennifer happened to be working and I'm friends with her. I'll also comment that the staff needs to smile more and not look so serious. My friend who came with me says they look like they're having a bad day. My friend who came with me got to meet Jen for the first time and he enjoyed her helping us out at first. Typically I don't do feed backs but I did for this restaurant because before everyone seemed much more up-beat, hopefully it will get better otherwise I'll only come when Jen is working. Before waitresses would interact more with people and others would laugh. I could write more but I have Lupus and Fibromyalgia and I hurt all the time and typing makes it worse, I have tons of good memories at...
