I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! My friend and I were passing through Fairbault and were looking for a place to eat supper. The pictures of pizza looked great, so we tried it. We got half taco pizza and half chicken cordon blue (pictured). And WOW!! Amazing, fantastic pizza!!
Our server was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was wonderful! I loved reading about the history of the restaurant, too. We thoroughly enjoyed the food so much that when we were heading back through the area a few days later, we had to come back to Basilleo's once more! This time we tried half chicken cordon blue pizza (did I mention how good it is?) and half chicken bacon ranch (sorry, no picture). Again, a fabulous experience with another wonderful server!
This is a fantastic gem that should not be missed. If you live in the area or are passing through, make sure to check out the lovely city of Fairbault and try Basilleo's Pizza 2.0. I will definitely be back when I'm in the...
Read moreThe Basilleo's Pizza I know was not there. The pizza is expensive for the quality. The sauce tasted store bought and the cheese certainly was not the same quality I know it to be. Not enough cheese and the pizza was a bit burnt. By burnt, I mean burnt, not like it's fire oven burns. I was a customer that drove far for the experience, but not coming back again. Sorry Basilleo's Pizza, you should of kept the recipe the same. If you do go back to the same quality I know you for, I am willing to drive back. Edit: It's not about the price, it's about the quality vs price. I have come to Basilleo's before and after reopening. The old owners used sliced cheese and covered the full pizza, but last time I visited, it looked to be shredded cheese, gaps, and overly thin burnt crust. The quality was not there from the last visit I made. It is what it is the quality...
Read moreSo we came in a few weeks ago smashed after exploring an awesome abandoned building and let me tell you what, the lady behind the counter, FOX! Our pizza was hot and ready on the spot and we were so hungry we ate this XL beast of a pizza standing up outside in under ten minutes.
Mouthwateringly delicious. I’ve been a heavy critic of pizza out here coming from New York, but that pizza made me eat my words. DELICIOUS, CHEESY, MELT IN YOUR MOUTH culinary masterpiece that I won’t forget even though I was pretty much blacked out drunk.
We went back for spices and she not only gave us that but also a free desert. CHERRY PIE. I can’t make this up. I ate it and it was so good that I started crying.
I cannot stress enough how much this place rocks, and I suggest anyone passing through to EAT HERE, RIGHT NOW.
Happy Memorial...
