Great Margarita very friendly staff. Love the fresh tortillas and butter!! Definitely will be coming back Update: food still great but service was very poor on our second visit here we requested additional salsa and it ne we came after our food was brought our waitress went missing in action. We all wanted refills on drinks and my wife never got the salsa she requested. Hopefully service will be better next time as we do enjoy the food very much.

This place had VERY authentic Mexican food! They brought out a corn tortilla with butter and at first I didn’t know what it was for but then found that it was like an appetizer. I got the jalapeño steak fajitas Mexicana and asked for it to be extra spicy. I think I got it to spicy to the point it was unbearable. The food was still on point though and the salsa they brought with the chips tasted homemade The margaritas lime hit the spot as well :)

We have come to this place many times and never really had to wait for too long to get seated. The quality and cost of the food is great. It is a place to try really good Mexican food. The thing I do t like is that the menudo has elote. Where I am from that does not exist. So I don’t eat it. I have tried the Gorditas, beans and rice, chilaquiles but my favorite out of it all is still the menudo.

DO NOT GO HERE!! THEY ARE THE RUDESSST STAFF EVER! COMPLETELY RUINED MY MOTHERS DAY EVENING the second i walked in itlooked dirty, they practically threw the menus at us when they "walked " us to our table. The waitress didnt even look at us while talking ,brought me a dr pepper that had an ANT running around on the lid. She took everyones order and removed the menus without taking mine. (it was only three of us). I repeated my order TWICE and she stiiiill brought it WRONG. She passed by the table to confirm she had brought me the wrong order and KEPT ON WALKING. Didnt even offer to correct it. I told them to remove my plate that i was no longer going to eat and her and her coworker stared at me like i was stupid for about 5 seconds before finally reacting and taking the plate. My boyfriends food tasted nasty and when she brought my daughters food she "LET ME KNOW " It was hot yet stilllll proceeded to place it 2 cm away from my daughters hands and fingers. When i finallllly got fed up and left, my biggest mistake apparently was to let the hostess know that i was dissatisfied with the waitress. He looked at me and stayed quiet and the only words he had to say to me were ".......ok" . I left in shock that no one bothered to apologize or try to correct the bad service, only to notice when i was already gone that they OVERCHARGED ME an extra item. I was so upset at the service that it wasxnt about the money it was all about the principal of the situation. i called to tell them and When i went to get the money they had their hand sticking out with the money in it. I asked to speak to the manager and they refused to give me any information and decided that getting into a verbal confrontation with me about me complaining about the service would be MUCH BETTER. my boyfriend did not take kindly to ne being verbally attacked by threeeeeeee of their ghetttoooo ass employees and when he tried to defend me they felt "threatened" and called the cops on us.....WONDERFUL MOTHERS DAY thanx to them!!!! #CLASSLESS #POOR SERVICE IGNORANT EMPLOYEES dont...

The employees there are not a good representation of Mexico, so dissapointing. Our waitress was rushing to take our order, I was interrupted in the middle of my order so she can take chips and salsa to the table behind us. The kids menu is on the regular menu, so no coloring or activity page for the kiddos! I asked for green chilaquiles no eggs, but needed an egg for my 4 year old, a good waitress would of said she could bring the eggs separated instead of adding akn extra item. They charged the same price for chilaquiles with egg, plus the extra egg. I explained and asked the manager to adjust it but he was just plain rude, saying they had never had a situation like that! The order with chilaquiles comes with 2 eggs!!!

The food came separate, my kids were hungry and both of the food items for them came minutes later including the single egg I had asked for!

The beans and tortillas made there are good. They usually serve tortillas with butter along with the chips and salsa, we only got chips and salsa this time.

With bad customer service makes us not want...

Cuquitas Mexican Restaurant a tradition among the Richardson, Garland and Farmers Branch community. Today arriving at the Farmers Branch location, I was surprised by the live music by a gentleman playing the guitar where he sounds very good and plays outstanding, but the service was subpar. Hostesses were sitting people everywhere the found an empty table, which put the servers on a uncomfortable position. Everything was rushed, we did not received the complementary fresh and hand made tortillas, no attentiveness (once again overwhelmed by the amount of tables they had at once). We order green chicken enchiladas and Mexican barbacoa. The enchiladas lost its flavor on the green sauce and seasoning on the chicken, the barbacoa super greasy and overcooked on the steam table, the rice was not fully cooked as bit many times pices of rice uncooked. Hopefully the owner would looked in to this because it's a shame that the quality is going down the...
