Order #563754 We ordered 2 pizzas from this establishment. Both medium 2 topping pizzas, one pepperoni and pineapple, one sausage and bacon. About 20 minutes after delivery we sat down to eat. We noticed there was not an ounce of tomato product on the pepperoni pizza, and barely a discernible trickle of sauce on the sausage. We tried to look up the order online but instead i just called the store to see if we had accidentally requested no sauce when ordering. I spoke with a young lady who gathered my order info and put me on hold. Another young woman came on the line and proclaimed she was the one who made our pizzas and immediately stated they were made correctly. She stated we had ordered light sauce on the pepperoni (which we dont remember doing but okay). She then proceedes to educate me on how they make their pizzas based on weight of the cheese and measurements of sauce. She stated that they use 3 ounces of sauce and 4 ounces of cheese, and some pizzas even get two types of cheese making it appear more white. I told her there wasn't even a slight trace of sauce on the pepperoni pizza, and also nothing on the other, and she again stated we ordered light sauce and insisted that's just how they make their pizzas. I've been eating Dominos pizza since Avoid the Noid...i dont ever remember dry bread and cheese being their thing. But I digress. When a customer calls to explain they are not satisfied with your product, it's usually not wise to scientifically break down why you think the product should be satisfactory based on information the customer would have no way of knowing prior to ordering. I was basically speechless after being lectured by this employee, who didn't even offer a half ass apology that my expectations weren't met regardless of how wrong they were in her eyes. She didn't even offer a solution, maybe suggest ordering extra sauce in the future to keep it from happening again, nothing. Just matter-of-factly lectured me about how they make their pizzas and that i had nothing to complain about. When she finished, i told her i would take all the information she provided into consideration when i chose the establishment I ordered pizza from in the future. You can safely bet it will not be this...
Read moreThis location is the worst. I work at a hotel in the area, and I’ve ordered from this location 3 times over the last 4 months and I’ve had a bad experience every time. The first time they sent the pizza uncut. It was not sliced, just a whole pie. The second time my delivery ETA on the Dominos Tracker went from 8 minutes to 15 minutes to 45 minutes. After it went to 1 hour and 15 minutes, I called and cancelled the order. Last night I redeemed points for a free pizza and it was never delivered. I received a notice my driver was approaching, then about 5 minutes later that my order was delivered, but it wasn’t. I saw the driver in the lobby, but he walked past the front desk of the hotel and straight towards the elevators. When he came down I asked if by chance he had my order, he said no and left. I called the store and was told they were under new management, understaffed, and they were sorry. That was pretty much the same thing I was told when I called the store for the other issues. I asked if they could please send my order out again, but was told no. They said I needed to come pick it up. If I could pick it up I wouldn’t have ordered delivery. When I asked why I couldn’t get it delivered he repeated the same as before, they are short staffed and my order would take another hour, but this time he did it while laughing and eventually hung up the call. A few minutes after the call I received a notice on the App that my order was canceled. Over the next few hours of my shift I saw 4 Dominos deliveries made, so I’m not sure why mine couldn’t be delivered. This location excels at bad...
Read moreDomino's gets 2 stars only due to it's online order/payment and delivery processes being the best I've ever seen from this company. This location fails by browning or burning the pizza top. It's not really like burning because the dough is still soft and bread-like, so maybe it's a new look dictated by corporate. If so, it's a total fail.... your pizza will not look anything like the yellow cheesy look in the ordering pictures. I have lived at this address and ordered from this Domino's for many, many, years, but not at all in the last six.
But my goodness, things have really changed with the quality of this company's pizza and ALL OF IT FOR THE BAD!! Domino's was never as good as anything from my old NY area, but it was at least passable for something quick and delivered. Nowadays, even every pizza joint in TX is quick and delivered, but what corporate Domino's is serving does NOT pass as good pizza. What I got delivered today was a salty, white bread doughy soft crust thing with NO real amount of anything like cheese on a non-existent quantity of sauce. And then, it was "browned" or looked burned, everywhere on top. It looked and tasted disgusting. Four slices in the mouth and the rest, plus a second one, right in the trash.
So.... I will never buy another pizza from any Domino's again. If this is what a pizza corporation is selling, for these prices, it's one that needs to go out of business. Please let somebody else buy out the stores and it's good employees and give it a chance to...
