Wendy's — Restaurant in Farmington Hills

Today I went through the drive through. The guy taking my order had a very bad memory. I would say something and he would ask me what else I wanted and I would answer, then he'd go back to something from before and repeat it back to me, but get it wrong. All I ordered was a Biggie Bag but I had to say what sauce I wanted with my nuggets, what drink I wanted, and what sandwich, multiple times. Finally he repeated it all back to me correctly. Then at the drive through window they hand me my food, I say thank you, and they don't say you're welcome or even look at me. I drive away because I'm just annoyed at this point. When I check my order, they got my drink wrong, my sandwich wrong, and the nugget sauce wrong.

It's a Wendy's... I don't expect gourmet. All I expect is to say what I want, pay you the money, and then get what I ordered. I don't know why it's so hard. It was a $6 order,...

Food is amazing but the customer service is horrible. I mobile ordered and I selected a carryout, but it began to rain on my way there so I went through the drive-through and asked to get it and was told that I had to come inside. I came inside and my order was not in the mobile order section. It was sitting on the front counter, which is closer to the drive-through window. Then the order section is because the order section is in the lobby. I got my food and I checked the bag to see no napkins, no fork for my food no straw for my drink and none of the sauces that I needed. I asked the manager at the front desk for my sauce and before I could get it out, she said your sauces are in the bag. I made sure of it. Wendy's has pretty decent, traditional american food,.such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, soupy chili, french fries and soft serve ice cream that they call frosties. This location is pretty typical and does a decent job in food preparation and service. The Wendy's phone app almost always seems to offer some type of discount or freebie. Unfortunately some locations are not able to accept online orders, where the discount can be used at the time of payment. Regardless of whether you order and pay ahead or not, you cannot skip ahead in the drive through line, even though some locations have a sign that says you can skip ahead by pre ordering and paying.
