Stopped into The Daily Grind in Unionville with my husband today, and wow—what a hidden gem. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect place to grab a coffee before hitting the walking path, get some work done, or enjoy a casual breakfast or lunch.

Evan, the owner, greeted us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality—he clearly knows and cares about his regulars. The entire staff was equally kind and attentive, creating such a pleasant atmosphere from the moment we walked in.

We couldn’t decide on just one thing, so we ordered a few of Evan’s recommendations:

Sausage Breakfast Wrap – This one’s their most popular, and it didn’t disappoint. Eggs, sausage, hash browns, American cheese, house-made chipotle aioli, peppers, and onions. Spicy, flavorful, and the sausage was excellent—this was our favorite of the bunch.

Veggie Breakfast Wrap – SautĂ©ed mushrooms, spinach, and avocado spread. A delicious, lighter option. I added a side of chipotle aioli for dipping—highly recommend.

Bacon, Egg & Cheese on a Hard Roll – Two eggs and crispy bacon on a soft roll from Harvest Bakery. The roll was warmed just enough to melt the cheese—simple and classic.

Turkey Avocado BLT – Generous with the fillings, and the avocado added a nice, creamy touch. Another standout for us.

Everything tasted fresh, and their chipotle aioli is a must—perfect with so many of their sandwiches and wraps, so don’t forget to ask for a side.

For drinks, we had two oat milk lattes—smooth, nutty, and perfectly balanced. Their beans are roasted specifically for the shop and are also available to take home.

We also tried the Fluff-a-Nutter Latte, one of their drink specials—super sweet, almost like a milkshake. Definitely more of a dessert treat!

Other details I loved: They make all of their cream cheeses in-house, use rolls and pastries from Harvest Bakery in Bristol, and source their bagels from Kettle Bagels in Southington.

A great local spot run with care and intention—we’ll...

Nestled in the charming town of Unionville, CT, Daily Grind offers a refreshing and cozy retreat for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike. Owned by Evan Parsons, a young entrepreneur who has truly transformed his life, this coffee shop combines passion and dedication into every cup and dish.

From the moment you step inside Daily Grind, you’re greeted by a warm, homey atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. The shop's location near a scenic walking trail adds to its appeal, making it an excellent stop for a post-stroll pick-me-up.

The beverage menu at Daily Grind is impressively diverse, catering to every taste from classic espresso drinks to innovative seasonal specials. But it’s not just the coffee that steals the show. The food offerings are equally noteworthy. The new breakfast taco is a standout item—filled with scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns, an avocado lime aioli and a blend of flavors that make each bite a delightful experience. For those who appreciate a savory snack, the egg bites are a must-try; they’re incredibly flavorful and have a texture that’s simply irresistible.

Evan Parsons has created more than just a coffee shop; he’s built a community space where quality and comfort come together. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Daily Grind is definitely worth a visit. With its inviting ambiance and mouthwatering menu, it’s clear that this place is more than just a caffeine fix—it’s a destination for good food, great coffee, and a...

The daily grind is amazing. I live in canton but have to drive a ways to get to highways for different places I work and I’ve always wished there was a place I could order a breakfast sandwich and caffeine fix on the way. The daily grind has answered my prayers. I order ahead and everything is always perfect and ready to go when I hit their door. They are always so friendly and kind. They truly care about their customers. They make drinks and sandwiches for me and my coworkers almost daily now. They are so amazing that I’m sad when I don’t have time to stop. Honestly I usually debate whether I can gamble on being late if it means I get my daily grind fix. My colleagues are always nicer when I show up with our favorite pick me up from daily grind. You are missing out if you haven’t...

Been here about three times now. So far the brown sugar shaken espresso has been my fav drink, and the bacon egg and cheese on a roll is my go to. Don’t recommend the bagels, if you’re used to New York bagels- theirs is more like an unseasoned/ unsalted bread. Bacon egg and cheese tho? I don’t usually care for them unless it’s smothered in ketchup but the ratios here are spot on and just the right amount of salty. Highly recommend. Manhattan prices, but for quality- I’ll take it.
