Karie Anne's Frozen Desserts Farmington — Restaurant in Farmington

Today was their grand opening and our family of 6 stopped by around 4:00 to support them. The line was long and the sun was hot, but it was 100% worth it.

All 6 of us ordered a gelati (it’s a layer of shaved ice, custard, and more shaved ice). They also have the option of all shaved ice or all custard.

We ordered a variety of sizes and I’ll tell you a secret. There was no difference between the medium and large. The large is supposed to have more scoops, but it looked just like the medium (they were in the same sized cup and both filled to the top). We’ll probably stick to ordering small and medium.

They have standard flavors, combinations, and weekly flavors. Their weekly flavors this time were Strawberries & Cream and Southern Bell. I ordered those with vanilla custard in the middle and frostbite on top (it’s sweetened condensed milk). It was amazing and I would get it again and again and AGAIN!

We also ordered The Alter Ego, Dragon Slayer, and a random combo. We have a picky group of kids, but everyone loved what they ordered. It was a perfect cold treat on a hot summer day.

They will be in this location until October and then they close down for the winter. Be sure to check them out before then! During the week of July 14th, their weekly custard flavor will be cookies & cream. I’m going back to try an Iron Man (red raspberry, chocolate custard,...

I am so glad there is a location much closer to me! We went the Logan location all the time when we lived there. I’m obsessed with Karie Anne’s. The Italian ice is so soft it melts in your mouth.

The parking lot is blocked off so cars cannot get close to the seating. There is also a porta potty.
