We ate Mariachi Loco for our first time this weekend and enjoyed it very much. The place was bright, spacious, and clean… and we were greeted by friendly staff upon entering and through out our experience. We ate at the bar and got to watch the bartenders make all kinds of creative cocktails. The multiple tv’s throughout is a Huge Win 🤩🤩🤩 and the staff even offered to change them to our preferred sports. The food was delicious! I recommend the Quesobirria and the Queso Rellano. We also enjoyed a Oyster Shot just for fun! Will absolutely go back soon!!

We went to celebrate our anniversary, so my husband got the restaurant’s signature dish called Filete Mariachi Loco, which was $28. He got to the middle of the dish and realized the fish was cold and raw. I asked him if it was good before that and he said no; it didn’t really have a taste other than the taste of grease. My plate was ok, but there are so many other locally owned Mexican restaurants in town that are (in my opinion) much better.

If you’re looking for the best restaurant experience in the area, this is the spot. Amazing food accompanied by exceptional hospitality. I had the al pastor tacos with a side of rice and beans; very filling portion with great authentic taste. Restaurant was very clean and loved the decor and ambience. Good size for big parties and also had a good sized bar area. This will be my new go to anytime I’m in the Farmington area. 10/10

When I entered this restaurant, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully curated to create an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between lively and inviting, and the space itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, something that instantly set a high standard.

What truly stood out, however, was the food. Every dish tasted like it had been prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. From the salsa to the entrées, each bite was rich in flavor and authenticity. I had the mar y tierra (surf and turf) burrito, which was absolutely divine. The way the shrimp and steak were cooked was luxurious. Truly, this was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had.

The margaritas deserve special mention. Far from the overly sweet, pre-mixed drinks you find elsewhere, these were clearly made to order with top-shelf spirits and fresh ingredients. You could taste the care and craftsmanship in every sip. I partook in the margarita flight and was glad I did as every drink was unique and exceptional.

The service was equally impressive. The staff was quick and genuinely friendly, enhancing the experience without ever feeling intrusive.

In short, this restaurant hits every mark, from outstanding food and drinks to atmosphere and service. I can’t recommend it...

This restaurant is the best Mexican spot in Farmington, NM. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the exceptionally friendly and polite hostess and owners. Our server, Christina, went above and beyond to provide the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in Farmington. I took my sister and her family to celebrate my nephew's birthday, and they made us feel welcome while helping us celebrate. The entire staff came together to support Christina with the birthday song.

We all ordered different dishes and were amazed by the generous portions. Everything was delicious and authentic. While it is a bit pricey, it is definitely worth it, and I can't wait to return. I found the best Mexican restaurant and highly recommend it to all my family and friends. You will not be disappointed at all!...

One of the worst experiences at a restaurant. First, the food was very bland. No flavor whatsoever. We got nachos with chorizo and the cheese tasted like store bought cheese from walmart. Second, service was horrible. I ordered shrimp. Our waitress put in the wrong order and gave me fish. The food was taken back, and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for it. My dad had already finished his food by then, and the tables next to me (who were seated after us) received their food with no problem. Then when I received my food, it was once again incorrect. I was Informed I would get a salad, and rice. They gave me shrimp, fries, and ranch? We did not want to wait again, so we asked for a refund and they seemed very inconvenienced and annoyed. I recommend not...
