We have really enjoyed this place! We have been four times in the past month at the new Farmington location. This is gonna be long, but worth the read. We are huge meat fans and I'm telling you, these are some of the best steaks we have EVER had! We travel often to Phoenix, Denver, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Seattle, Portland, etc as we are antique dealers and collectors, so we eat out a lot. We have never had an issue on timing with our food, always within 30 minutes. There are a few suggestions I might make to the owner, but by no means insulting, just constructive feedback. One of the first things I'd do is ditch the fake bacon bits, since they go on both the potato and salad. My husband is Mexican and he usually eats his steak with grilled jalapeño on the side and sautéed mushrooms, so that part was kind of a bummer. People love spice with their meat, even offering a good spicy green chile would up your business significantly, I think. The iced tea is a little off in taste (my fave go to drink when we go out), maybe changing your water source cause it does have a strong tap taste. And lastly, maybe gather some servers/bussers that are a little more professional. We have had wonderful experiences, but felt forgotten at times. Those things are small in the comparison of the quality you receive. I've managed restaurants in Leavenworth, WA and can tell you there so many places out there worth throwing your hands up in the air and this is not one of them. The prices are very fair and it's just an overall great place. People need to realize that creating a business in a pandemic is not easy and things will improve the more we band together to support our new, local businesses. Things are expensive and quality isn't cheap, so please take that into consideration before swinging massive insults. Nothing is perfect in this life and if thats what you expect, you may need to go home and cook for yourselves. Owning a restaurant in Farmington is by no means ever going to make him rich, he does this because it's his passion. Mr. Chambers is just starting out and I'd say in knowing that and what has been accomplished so far, he deserves a 5+ star! Thank you for providing exceptional food, sir! Thank you for bringing a place for us to come, gather and socialize with one another. It has been a pleasure...
Read morePulled up passing thru town craving some Diné cuisine, flea markets were raining so no local native food vendors werent out. Anyway ordered the steamed corn & was excited until it arrived. So why advertise it as steamed corn? It's not steamed corn. Idk what kinda white corn relative to hominy they used but It wasn't steamed corn. They didn't skimp on the meat it was decently portioned. The fry bread was fry bread. Another thing was the waitress... they were nice & seriously kinda sloppy. Upon arrival of the stews she didn't know how to serve & used her sleeves & cuffs to hold the bowl DIPPING the cuffs in the stew... yeah what the heck... the coffee was great until.the creamer was delivered & it was one of them giant ones you pass around at home in a private setting, I mean yall are around the corner from a shamrock so what's the issue with serving individual packets? 🤷🏼♀️ it seems family owned & the business would benefit from hiring someone older with experience in serving & waiting bc the staff that waited seemed lost & didn't put in minimal effort. Maybe I'll check it out again next time I'm in the area but for the price you're paying averaging from.15$-27$ a meal I don't it's worth it bc not only is the steamed corn falsely advertised but the fact that the server wasn't knowledgeable in restaurant etiquette made me stand off. We still ate there but my family didn't like it. I have high hopes for thus place maybe they'll take this comment as constructive criticism & not an insult. It's a learning curb guys. Can't win em all. Maybe next time I'll roll in & try the steak menu. 🥰 much love &...
Read moreIt was our first visit here and one of the worst I've experienced in town. The waitress had no knowledge of how the menu functioned. She mentioned it was her 3rd day. I would assume someone would train her for more then just a couple of days. Only 1 couple in the restaurant but the service was awful. The waitress only checked on us once or twice. We dropped 100$ for withered food. My kids didnt eat their Navajo Tacos and I had to take out my lettuce and tomatoes from my Navajo burger. Tomatoes and lettuce looked a couple days old. Lettuce was brown and bitter, tomatoes soggy (pictured) I let them know but they didnt apologize or try to make it right. Even found an onion skin. Definitely not worth what we paid for. They didnt give us our extra side of fries and frybread, which they tried to charge us for. I had to run to the bathroom so by the time I came back to our table, food was delivered. My husband told me that the waitress was heading to the back to put the order in but never came back with any extras. I made sure when he was paying for the food that they wouldnt charge us the extras. Definitely dont recommend the navajo taco and burger just go to a food stand. You get better quality and better customer service. Also the restrooms are located exactly next to the dishes that are being used in the kitchen. Literally like walking through the kitchen. Im one to think that anyone can cough or sneeze on all those dishes while walking through. Or kids...
