Lunch was amazing. Simple decor inside, no frills, and the food was like a homemade meal. Enchalada sauce is made with green chilies (New Mexico after all) and a mushroom reduction that added a robust savory flavor to the meal. Chicken was fresh, moist and also flavored with peppers, good rice and decent beans. I asked for hot sauce and was notified of a special in-house Verde salsa to try instead. It was so delicious and unlike any salsa I had before that I left with two jars of the stuff to take home for friends and family to try. Take all my money Los Rios Cafe, I'll happily hand it over in exchange for a poncho belly!

There is a special place on my heart for unassuming family-run places that consistantly turn our great tasting comfort food. This wonderful example of such a place is easy to miss tucked away in a strip mall off the main road and behind a Big Lots store. I would say that, like myself, others who live in the area but don't work in Farmington and have a chance to get away form the office for lunch may never have stopped in. I'm glad I remedied that today. The carne adovada I was served was exceptional and the waitress told me it was "Dad's speciality."

Very very good food! The green chili is HOT! I had the green chili stew and was so hot I didn’t even eat it all just probably 4 bites and didn’t finish it so took it home and ate it for breakfast with eggs . Very good chips and salsa and my husband had the huevos rancheros with green chili he sure enjoy it ! We came in as a big group and they took us fast we didn’t have to wait at all. Very good service and staff!

They speak to their employees with such disrespect, hence why nobody works there for long. drink at home then text awful things to employees or at work gossip amongst each other like middle school kids about others. Then proceed to be so just childish and unethical that they refuse to go forth with any of the requirements that is state law, regarding employees, and their hard earned money. Dont have employee information, because they have always paid in person. which is also a requirement , to have info on your employees . Yet have the nerve to refuse a letter of non employment thru their company regarding a former employee. proceeded to "mail" (to unknown address) their final pay check for an employee and her son that are currently moving entirely out of state to broaden their opportunities, which owners and employed daughter of los Rios wasnt supportive or congratulative of, whom have both on different occasions went home in tears and then were harassed via text message/Facebook by them or their relative employees. . this business is an adult playground for bullies... and how awful to have to look behind the scenes to see such a wonderful place disregard someones dignity and forget all values only to be so destructive of another person... bullies.... your business may be of good quality on the outside but the inside is just completely poor when it comes to...

Los Rios doesn't deserve even 1 star! They have lost a lot of great customers from my place of employment. We're here on a 6 month job. My brother and I went two nights ago for dinner at Los Rios, Monday, October3rd. Our food came out way too quickly. The beef was still frozen in some spots, the beans and rice were all dried out and tasted terrible. They treated us poorly, the food is way overpriced and about the only thing half decent about our experience at Los Rios the other night is that one of the servers had a nice butt. However, not nice enough for us to ever return for undercooked, old dried out, overpriced food and bad service. I don't trust the cooks in the kitchen either. Scary place. Sounds like some people have had a good experience so you have at least a 50% chance. Do you dare? Good luck if you do but for my brotber and I and co-workers.....we choose higher quality at a clean and trustworthy establishment with consistently great food and service at...

Sorry the only thing I can judge this place on is the chips and salsa. Those were better than I've had in town, wasn't watery, tomatoy, or plain. It was good and flavorful. The rest of the food I can't tell you. It took forever to get seating when we could see tables open. The ladies working would glance over and walk off. Once we finally got seated we got our menus and our drinks right away, but 40+ minutes later our orders still hadn't been taken. By then we were ready to go somewhere else and asked for our check for the drinks. I had hopes to try the food after hearing good things. Maybe later we'll try again but probably not in the...
