Sally's Apizza at West Farms Mall, server was phenomenal. That is the best I can say.
The rest... BOO. Food is horribly over priced, wine and beer selection is average grade at premium pricing, music is extremely too loud as you'll be yelling at others sitting next to you and I would not bring children here because of the extensive sound. Sports screens "extremely" too large for this location and the heat coming from the screens makes it uncomfortable when it is warm as it was Friday. Clam pizza... what clams? Where were they??? We had all boatload of garlic... and the clams I did scrape from the pizza were tough and over chewy, basically overcooked. Why can't I modify a pizza to red sauce? Are these made from scratch or sitting in a fridge pre-made? And I cannot believe I asked for a bit of red sauce to add myself on the side, I received less than 2 tablespoons of red sauce and was charged a fee. Seltzer water... a fee.... they can't make a salad... whole leaf greens, poor presentation and the little teeny tiny tomatoes they give you in the salad, you get two cut in half... don't waste your eardrums and also go somewhere else, you'll save a boatload of money. For what we paid Friday night we could have easily gone out for...
Read moreVery good to excellent pizza depending on which types you get. Ingredients are fresh and high-quality. Just enough to warrant five stars for the quality of the food.
The various salads we've had were excellent as well. Maybe even better, relatively speaking, then the pizzas. Incredibly fresh lettuce, veggies, cheese, and very good salad dressings, the salad portion sizes are very generous.
Service is good, not great, but I will chalk that up to teething issues still. Pricing is fair for everything that you get. People not from the area may find it expensive but it's the going rate here. And it's a good deal.
We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. There is a walkway to the mall on one side, but it's not distracting. Good place for a date but also very family friendly.
But we are very spoiled in the Central Connecticut area. Some of the best pizza in the country tends to be in the Central and Southern Connecticut area, it is very very good pizza, it's not the best in the immediate area in our opinion.
But it is definitely worth coming to experience Sally's take on apizza. This will absolutely be on our rotation of pizza restaurants revisit...

I had high hopes for this outpost of the legendary New Haven Sally’s, but left deeply disappointed. The pizza was decent—better than average mall fare—but nowhere near the quality of the original. Mine was overcooked, with a burnt crust that distracted from the flavor.
But the real problem here isn’t the food. It’s the environment. The space is flooded with TVs—wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, blasting sports from every direction. It felt more like an arcade or a Vegas sports bar than a pizza place. Within minutes of walking in, I had a headache from the sensory overload.
It’s baffling. Sally’s already has a reputation and a product worth celebrating--one of the best pizza makers in America. How many restaurants can say that? Still, why bury it under a mall nightmare of screens and noise? The design must have cost a fortune, but it feels like a total misfire. Sally’s should trust their pizza, not try to distract us from it. The absolute worst atmosphere to enjoy a good pie. I won't...
